Steam Deck is the latest console from Valve where its main use is to play all the games on Steam.
With the help of the Proton 7.0 system, Valve selects which games can be played for the Steam Deck.
Valve creates a page with a name Steam Deck Compatibility for the players can be played on the console.
Steam Deck Compabillity will keep track of games that have been registered on the Steam Deck system.
There are 3 statuses that are obtained by games related to the Steam Deck, namely Verified, Playable, Unsupported, and Untested.
“Verifiedor verified means the game has been tested and passed the test to function properly on the Steam Deck. The assessment is related to Controller Input, graphics, UI/UX, and other features.
A total of more than 750 games have been verified by Valve including Horizon Zero Dawn, Stardew Valley, Hades, Terraria, Shadow Warrior 2, and Persona 4 Golden which recently received the "Verified" badge.

Tagged games “Playables” or playable means you can play with some configuration adjustments so that it runs optimally.
“Unsupported” means the game does not pass the test and “Untested” intended for games that have not been tested.
Elden Ring has officially received the "Verified" label from Valve one day after the game was released. The phase that Elden Ring is currently going through is Testing Drive for now, indicating an improvement in configuration and control input so that it can be played without problems on the Steam Deck.
