5 Best Weapons Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree

Among all the new weapons, there are five weapons that really caught the attention of many fans. These five weapons are not only strong, but also have their own unique qualities that make them worth trying. Let's discuss them one by one.

Spear of the Impaler

Spear of the Impaler

Spear of the Impaler is a memorable weapon from the boss Messmer the Impaler, one of the boss hardest in Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree.

This weapon has an Ash of War called Messmer's Assault, a multi-hit attack that coats the spear in flames, and allows you to quickly slash and stab enemies.

This attack ends by driving the spear into the ground, creating dozens of spears around you.

  • Stat Requirements: Str 14, Dex 35, Fai 18
  • Location: Exchange Remembrance of the Impaler for Finger Reader Enia in Roundtable Hold.

This weapon is perfect for builds that focus on consecutive attacks and builds that utilize fire damage.

Additionally, this spear can be thrown to provide potential long-range attacks, even while on horseback. Try using this weapon with the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia to maximize the fire damage from Messmer's Flame.

Fire Knight's Greatsword

Fire Knight's Greatsword

Fire Knight's Greatsword is a new colossal sword with a high Faith scale. When infused with Flame Art Ash of War, this weapon deals greater damage compared to other infusions.

The two new Ash of War, Flame Skewer and Flame Spear, are excellent choices for this weapon, as they provide an even more powerful fire buff than the Flaming Strike from the base game.

  • Stat Requirements: Str 22, Dex 18, Fai 12
  • Ash of War Recommendations: Flame Skewer, Flame Spear
  • Location: Dropped by Fire Knights in Shadow Keep.

To get this weapon, you need to farm from Fire Knights in Shadow Keep. Upgrade Arcane to increase Discovery, and use Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot to increase drop chance.

This weapon can be farmed easily near the Storehouse, First Floor Site of Grace after taking the elevator down.

Bloodfiend's Arm

Bloodfiend's Arm

Bloodfiend's Arm is well known for its ability to cause blood loss in just one powerful attack.

This weapon can be infused with various Ashes of War, but the best choice is Royal Knight's Resolve as it focuses on single attacks.

This Ash of War grants 80% increased damage on the next attack that successfully hits the enemy, perfectly matching the characteristics of Bloodfiend's Arm.

  • Stat Requirements: Str 28, Dex 11, Arc 16
  • Ash of War Recommendations: Royal Knight's Resolve, Endure
  • Location: Dropped by the Bloodfiend horde in Prospect Town on Gravesite Plain.

Every powerful attack from this weapon causes blood loss, making the Lord of Blood's Exultation talisman a mainstay that is always active.

You can also utilize the Ax Talisman to increase damage by 10% from charged attacks. If you're having trouble fighting a boss, use this weapon and watch their HP decrease quickly.

Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword

Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword

The Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword is a colossal Strength/Arcane sword that lives up to its name as one of the treasures in the Ruined Forge.

His Ash of War, White Light Charge, can approach enemies quickly and deal massive magic damage.

The standard attack of this weapon focuses more on Strength, but the damage from Ash of War focuses more on Arcane.

  • Stat Requirements: Str 35, Dex 10, Arc 19
  • Location: Found as a reward in the Ruined Forge of Starfall Past at the end of the dungeon.

This colossal sword is already great for breaking poises, but with the addition of White Light Charge, enemies and bosses will often stagger.

Use the Shard of Alexander to increase the damage from White Light Charge. This weapon is very suitable for Dragon Communion builds which also quickly break poise with incantations such as Dragonmaw and Dragonclaw.

Milady

Milady

Milady falls into a new category of weapons in Elden Ring called Light Greatswords. This weapon can be infused with various Ashes of War, but Wing Stance is designed specifically for this weapon.

Holding down the skill button will put you in a stance with two options: a multi-hit light attack or a powerful jumping stab attack.

  • Stat Requirements: Str 12, Dex 17
  • Location: Found in a chest on top of the tower to the west after entering Castle Ensis right after Troll Knight.

This weapon is designed to be combined with a new talisman, Rellana's Cameo, which will increase the damage from stance attacks by 15%.

This not only applies to Wing Stance, but also other stances such as Moon-and-Fire Stance, Night-and-Flame Stance, and Unsheathe.
