Introducing Edith, the First Tank Marksman Hero in Mobile Legends

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang introduces Edith, the first tank/marksman hybrid hero. After the successful run of the 2021 M3 World Championship, the development team at MOONTON will be releasing a first-of-its-kind hero hybrid, the tank/sniper. This hero will be Edith – The Forsaken Warden.

When wearing a mecha suit called Phylax, she will act as a tank during normal gameplay. But when you use his ultimate, he breaks out of his mecha uniform to become a damage-dealing marskman with ranged skills. Here are the details of this hero.

Edith can be called a female duality hero in Mobile Legends. Do not judge a book by its cover. In this case, don't judge the hero by its mechanics. According to Moonton's hero highlights, he specializes in control and explosions, and has the same strong offensive power as a marksman, as well as durability as a tank.

Edith's skills in Mobile Legends

Passive – Overload

Every time Edith cast a skill, she became overloaded for three seconds. Within this duration, his basic attack triggers Chain Lightning, which deals extra magic damage to up to four nearby enemies.

As such, it is his bread and butter in the laning phase as it allows him to clear waves of minions.

First Skill – Earth Shatter

Earth Shatter is Edith's main source of damage as a tank. Phylax leaps into the air, landing a punch that deals physical damage in the front, knocking enemies down with ease.

The physical damage is very hard, so that an enemy hero who is hit, his HP can be reduced by up to 50 percent. It's not surprising that this army and tank is very scary when it comes to Land of Dawn Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Second Skill – Onwards

Of all his skills, Onward is the most lethal skill of him. Using it charges Phylax forward, dealing physical damage to enemies along the lane.

If Edith hits an enemy hero in her lane, she will immediately stop and throw them over her shoulder, dealing extra physical damage to the target, briefly stunning them.

In the laning phase, use Onward to turn enemy heroes into an Earth Shatter combo, then continue with a basic attack powered by Chain Lightning from Overload.

Ultimate – Primal Wrath

Primal Wrath can be casted once Edith reaches max Wrath. He pulled himself out of Phylax, got hold of the shield. He also unlocks new non-ultimate skills, and can perform ranged basic attacks.

He accumulated Wrath indicated by the white bar under his HP and based on how much damage he took in his mecha form.

Divine Retribution

Divine Retribution is an AoE skill that deals magic damage to enemies it hits. This skill deals extra magic damage every 0.5 seconds to those who enter the area in the next 1.5 seconds.

Lightning Bolt

Lightning Bolt is Edith's main control skill in marksman form. A linear ability, she fires a bolt forward to deal magic damage to the first enemy hero it hits, immobilizing them for one second.

Play Styles

As previously stated, until he unlocks his ultimate at level 4, he cannot transform into his marksman form. So, it's better to play passively first. Use the passive to quickly wipe out the minions.

During the fight, engage the enemy with your tank form skills, then change to the marksman form in the mid game. Then you can destroy enemies with ranged skills and Edith's basic attacks.
