Sending Account Deletion Email

You can send an email to support@michat.sg. Don't forget to include your account's ID and a clear reason why you want to delete your account. Write the email in English, please.

To delete a MiChat account via email, follow these steps:

1. Open the email you used to register for MiChat.
2. Send an email to support@michat.sg with the subject “REQUEST TO DELETE MY ACCOUNT”.
3. Write a message containing a request to delete the account and the reason (in English).
4. Include ID of your MiChat account.
5. Wait for confirmation from MiChat.

Via Application

The second way is via the application, you can follow these steps;

1. If you still have the MiChat application on your cellphone, just open it directly. If it's not there, download it first from the application store (App Store or Google Play Store) then install it.
2. Login using the account you use.
3. Once the application is open, delete all existing chats until there are none left.
4. Replace all information on your profile with new data. You can use a pseudonym or fake information. Also delete all posts you have ever made.
5. Hide profile by going to privacy settings (Open MiChat account privacy settings. Disable Find Feature: Look for options like “Find Me by ID MiChat” or “Find Me by Phone Number”, then disable it.).
6. After all the steps above are completed, log out of your MiChat account and delete the application from your cellphone.

Once the account is deleted, all your data will be lost permanently. There is no way to recover a deleted account.
