Nobuyo Oyama was born with the real name Nobuyo Yamashita. He was born in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on October 16, 1933.
Nobuyo is known as a seiyuu or anime voice actor, especially for the characters Doraemon and Monokuma. DHe began his career by voicing the character Punch in the anime Hustle Punch in 1965.
In the 70s, Nobuyo began to be involved in anime production as a voice actor. The peak was in 1979, he was appointed as the voice actor for the character Doraemon.
Nobuyo Oyama voiced Doraemon for 26 years until 2005. After that, Doraemon's voice actor was replaced by Wasabi Mizuta until now.
Apart from being known as the voice actor for Doraemon, Nobuyo is also famous for playing the character Monokuma in the anime Monokuma: The Animation in 2013.
