Does NBA 2k23 Have Cross Platform Features? This is the explanation

NBA 2K23 does not have a crossplay feature but in this game there is a cross-platform progress feature. The lack of cross-platform features means that Xbox players cannot play together with PlayStation users. Even though there is no cross platform feature, now NBA 2K23 supports the cross-platform progress feature.

This feature allows NBA 2K23 players on PlayStation 4 to play with PlayStation 5 users. Likewise, on Xbox One you can play NBA 2K23 to play together on Xbox Series 

The existence of this feature also allows users to access game progress on other platforms. For example, you have reached a certain level in the NBA game accessed via Xbox One.

One day you want to access it via Xbox Series X, then the progress can be displayed. 

The cross progress feature in the NBA 2K23 game already applies to the MyTEAM system on PlayStation and Xbox. If you want to share progress, MyTEAM Points, tokens and cards. You can do all of that between PS4 and PS5 or Xbox One with Xbox Series 

You could say this cross progression feature is a little confusing because it's still messy. Because if you play the game on PS4 or Xbox One, then access game progress on PS 5 and Xbox Series 

Progress remains accessible but in slightly backwards compatibility. So in short, the old generation version can still be played on the latest generation. But it only covers some versions. Meanwhile, the latest generation version cannot be accessed on old consoles.

NBA 2K23 Price and Playing Platforms

This game, which will be released on September 9 2023, is available for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms. NBA 2K23 is sold in several special editions that provide various special pre-order bonuses and various prizes that can be accessed in the game. 

NBA 2K23 has many new features including cross progression. Even though it is a little behind other games of its contemporaries such as Fortnite and Call of Duty: War Zone which already supports cross platform features. 

This game promises various gameplay features that are no less interesting. Some of these are animations, new controls for layups, dunks and dribble moves. 

Apart from that, players can also access teams from the classic NBA era. In this mode, players can use athletes from the 1980s such as Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. Then players can also play players from the 1991 era such as Michael Jordan and the 2002 era which was dominated by the late Kobe Bryant. 

For additional information, these new features and content can only be accessed via Playstation 5 and Xbox Series On Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Switch will have received the update but will not be able to access new My NBA content such as Jordan Challenge. 

This game is available from September 9 2023, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series Meanwhile, the Xbox One, PS4, Switch and PC versions are sold for US$60.
