Diablo 4 Season 4 Ends Soon, Here's the Season 5 Release Schedule

Diablo 4 season 4 is coming to an end, many fans are asking when the release schedule for season 5 will be. In season 4, there were many features in Diablo 4 compared to Diablo 3.

Diablo 4 Season 5 Release Date

Diablo 4 season 5 will be released on August 6, 2024 when season 4 of Loot Reborn ends. Later this new season will run for the same period of three months.  

This news was announced at the event Campfire Chat live broadcast via YouTube live streaming on June 22, 2024. 

Currently Diablo 4 season 5 is in the public testing phase. The Public Realism Test (PTR) has been taking place since Tuesday, June 25 2024 and will end on Tuesday, July 2 2024. 

Diablo 4’s PTR includes a new Eternal Quest entitled “The Eyes of the Enemy”. There is a new wave event called “Internal Hordes” which is 90 seconds long. 

If you have successfully defeated each wave in 3 minutes. Players will fight against the Fell Council. If they succeed in defeating him, players can use the Burning Aether collected during "Spoils of Hell" mode. There are four categories that you can loot, namely Spoils of Equipment, Spoils of Materials, Spoils of Gold, and Spoils of Greater Equipment. 

In the Diablo 4 Season 5 update there will also be new weapon and item updates, balance updates and several other new content which is currently in the testing phase. 

There is a new story line and a new questline that occurs after the Main Questline takes place. When carrying out this mission you will face the Infernal Hordes. Players must complete this Questline once in Season 5. 

How to Install Diablo IV Season 5 PTR

If you are curious about Diablo 4 season 5, you can install Public Test Realism (PTR) via the Blizzard Battle.net application. 

Quoting from news.blizzard.com, here is how to install the Public Realism Test season 5 Diablo: 

• Visit the Blizzard Battle.net app;
• Then select Diablo IV in the games list; 
• Under the play button there is a drop down option for the game version. There you can select the “Public Realism Test” option;
•  Click “Install” to install the PTR. If successful, the button will change to "Play";
• If so, click "Play" to enter the PTR. 
• Select one of the available servers; 
• Create a new character for testing; 
• Enter the game to try Diablo IV season 5. 

PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate users can do the tutorial above to play the PTR. 

After performing the steps mentioned above, you can access Battle Net via the Xbox App. If successful, you can access the PTR using Battle Net.
