Leaked Destiny 2 Season 19 Release Date

Bungie very interesting all players in terms of storyline for Destiny 2 Season 19. While players are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Destiny 2 Season 19 Lightfall, there is one more season left.

For now, it's unclear what season 19 will contain and the direction in which it will progress, but it will play a major role in the transition to Lightfall.

With the launch of Season of Plunder, Bungie put together a showcase where everyone can get a glimpse of what it's like Destiny 2 lightfall.

The upcoming expansion has everything from new subclasses to new locations. However, there is still a sizeable gap between the upcoming expansion and the storyline currently being told in the game.

Bungie will be making the most of Destiny 2 Season 19 to fill this void, so here's everything that's been in store about the upcoming season so far.

Destiny 2 Season 19 Release Date

According to official information released by Bungie, Destiny 2 Season 19 begins on December 6, 2022, which also happens to be a Tuesday. Season 19 is scheduled to end on February 28, 2023, which is also when Lightfall and Season 20 arrive.

In terms of storyline, there's not much to continue. One could easily assume that something would happen during the season, forcing the Guardians to head to Neomuna, a new destination in Jovian airspace.

Also, all the subclass reworks have been completed, so subclasses-wise it could be a slow season unless Bungie comes up with a whole new rework of Stasis, but that's unlikely.

Future season artifacts could come with mods that will suit every subclass in the game, but that's all speculation for now.

Developers have scheduled a lot of Exotic rework for the upcoming season. Divinity will be the first to receive a nerf.

Second, other Exotics such as No Time to Explain and Lord of the Wolves will also experience significant changes. Some materials and destination vendors such as Devrim Kay and Failsafe will also receive sizeable upgrades.

A new dungeon is also ready for the upcoming season. While not many details are available at this time, players can keep in mind previous seasons (such as Season of Plunder, which added King's Fall Raid) when building their expectations.

Additionally, Bungie will be adding new seasonal Exotics to the standard Season Pass. However, the storyline will be something that the public looks forward to. As per the current storyline, the Guardians have collected the fragments of Nezarec, the first Disciple of the Pyramids on the Moon.

Destiny 2 Season 19 will also see an Iron Banner rotation along with a refreshed set of rewards. Bungie also confirmed in a blog post that it will be removing the destination material for future seasons.

The Eliksni found his tomb and then made relics out of it which they used as amulets. Now that the Guardians are recovering this relic and placing it in the HELM, where the Crown of Sorrow is also kept, it's only a matter of time before something goes south.

There's a good chance Nezarec will be resurrected, but there's no telling if that will happen during Destiny 2 Season 19 or in Lightfall.

There are also rumors about Ana Bray and Rasputin's return. While the possibility of a SIVA-based season is unlikely, Rasputin may be involved in some way or another in the war against Darkness.

There's always a chance he'll be resurrected in a future season, but it's difficult to predict the storyline. There's still a chance that this transitional season might be lackluster. However, considering that the upcoming season will lead to Lightfall, the chances of Destiny 2 Season 19 being a failure are almost nil.
