What are Delusions?

Delusion is told in Genshin Impact as an object that has the same function as Vision.

As the Vicigers know, Vision is an object capable of providing elemental powers in Teyvat, the setting where Genshin Impact takes place.

According to a Fatui member named Viktor, an NPC that you can meet in Mondstadt Cathedral, all Fatui have this Delusion.

The Origin of Delusions

Unlike Vision which is obtained directly from God, Delusion is produced by mortals and not God.

The production method for Delusion in Genshin Impact is not known about the amount in circulation and how it was made.

It is said that the creation of Delusion uses the Crystal Marrow. Crystal Marrow is a material that you can only get on Yashiori Island, Inazuma.

The Crystal Marrow is the remains of the god that was killed by Orobashi Raiden Shogun.

Side Effects of Using Delusion

As previously discussed, using Delusion Genshin Impact is dangerous for mortals in Genshin Impact.

Side effects from using Delusion seem to vary from person to person. 

An example is Diluc's father, Crepus, who died in the Genshin Impact comic because he used Delusion.

Fatui Harbinger like Childe was also affected by the use of Delusion.

Existing Delusion Users in Genshin Impact

Until now, the known Delusion users in Genshin Impact are Fatui and Fatui Harbinger. 

Childe for example uses Delusion Electro in addition to having Vision Hydro.

When you fight Childe's boss, you can see at the boss's 3rd stage or at the Foul Legacy stage, Childe will use both Vision and Delusion together.
