Daedalian Keys? What is it?

Make them Hogwarts Legacy players who depart as 'Potterheads' (fans Harry Potter and Wizarding World), you may be immediately familiar with this key.

Yep, Vicigers who ever watched the first series of Harry Potter titled "The Philospher's Stone" would remember the scene where Harry must fly using a broomstick to chase a winged key.

Now that key is used as a reference from the original story Harry Potter for these Daedalian Keys! From this inspiration, Portkey as the developer made this side quest!

Understanding the Hogwarts Legacy Daedalian Keys

Basically Daedalian Keys is the name of the Side Quest. As the name implies, Vicigers' task in this quest is to collect keys (Keys) named Daedalian.

These keys will be scattered all over Hogwarts Castle, either lying out in the open, or out of sight because they are hidden.

As a key, of course its function is used to open something! And of course, in this context the Daedalian keys will be used to open a chest located in each of your dorms.

The chest will later contain a unique wardrobe for each dormitory called the Relic House Robe. In total there are 15 Daedalian Keys scattered (not including 1 tutorial key), and each key will give 180 XP House Tokens.

How to unlock the Daedalian Keys Hogwarts Legacy mission

Now the discussion will move on how to open the mission. The first thing Vicigers should do is visit The Astronomy Wing, and talk to NPCs Nellie Oggspire.

This NPC will explain you about this side quest in outline. After completing the dialogue and its various options, Vicigers can immediately go to the Astronomy Tower to look for the first Daedalian key (tutorial key).

upon arrival Vicigers at the top of the tower (tower), the key will appear and magically fly slide down the stairs.

If you follow the direction of flight, Vicigers will find the key ending in front of a cupboard with a large protruding keyhole called the House Cabinet.

With this key, you have the opportunity to open this wardrobe once. There, Viciger will get his first House Token.

If so, immediately return to the NPC earlier. He will then explain further that the House Token can be used to open a chest in your dorm.

Immediately return to your dorm and enter the token into the chest. Later a notification will appear: informing you that you have to find the remaining 15!
