MLBB 2023 Map Guide
After updating the game several times, in Patch Note 1.8.20, Moonton finally provides a guide about Laning, Creep and Turrets in their map.
We will provide information regarding this and what heroes with roles are suitable for being on that lane.
Laning Hero on MAP ML
The Mobile Legend map has three lanes or lanes consisting of gold lane, exp lane and mid lane. Of these three paths, there are five roles for each hero.
We will discuss each lane.
Gold Lane
This lane is highly recommended as a farming place for Marksman heroes who rely on equipment.
Although weak at the start of the game, Marksman You can use the additional Gold you get from Minion Siege to speed up Equipment purchases. The Gold Lane location is on the side of the lane far from the location where the Turtle first appeared.
roam
The next role is roam. The hero who usually plays the role of Roamer is Support or Tank. Hero Roam generally excels at starting Team Fights and they don't need to rely on Equipment.
Roamer is very suitable for protecting team heroes who act as Core or helping them get Buff. As a Roamer, you are advised to buy Roam Equipment.
Jungle
The next role in this game is Jungle, the hero who plays this role is called the Jungler. The hero who is very suitable to be used as a Jungler is the Assassin.
Known as the hero with the highest damage, Assassin is highly recommended for farming in the Jungle area. Even though he has high burst and mobility, the Assassin hero is very weak in the lane.
Therefore, they have to do farming when the game starts while looking for opportunities to eliminate opponents who appear to be alone.
You will need the battle spell Retribution to buy Jungling Footwear and get bonuses from eliminating Creeps.
Midlane
The fourth role on the ML map is Midlane. The recommended hero as Mid Laner is Mage. They are very good at clearing lanes and can help other lanes if needed.
You can try to do farming at the start of the game safely and start Roaming after reaching the required level.
EXP Lane
The last role is EXP Lane. If Gold Lane is far from where the first Turtle appears, then EXP Lane is the opposite. This lane is located near the first Turtle.
The recommended heroes to become EXP Laners are Fighters and Tanks. Unlike Marksman who relies more on equipment, Fighter relies more on level.
By going to EXP Lane, your level will increase faster. Apart from that, you can also join in the battle for the first Turtle.
Creeps
There are nine types of Creep that you should know about in the ML map. The creeps are located in several places with different elimination prizes.
Creeps are divided into three categories, namely Common Creeps, Elite Creeps, and Legend Creeps. Here is the complete list:
- common Creeps: Horned Lizard, Fire Beetle, Lava Golem, Lithowanderer, and Scavenger Crab
- Elite Creeps: Thunder Fenrir and Molten Fiend
- Legend Creeps: Elemental Lord and Dragon Turtle

turret
Each lane in Mobile Legend has three turrets. To win the match you have to destroy the turrets.
The turret will fire attacks with different amounts of damage at players. Therefore, you have to wait for the Minions to advance into the base first so that the turrets don't attack you.
The first turret you will encounter is called Outer turret. This turret will issue an attack every 1 second with an effect of 320 True Damage.
You will also get damage of 75% which increases continuously up to 20 stacks if you continue to be in the turret without Minions.
If there are no enemy Minions around, the Outer Turret will get a Damage Reduction of 50%. This turret will have energy protection for the first 5 minutes of the match.
The second is Inner turret. Just like the Outer Turret, it also deals attacks every second but with higher True Damage of 360.
If the Outer Turret is successfully destroyed by the opponent in just the first 8 minutes, the Inner Turret will receive 50% Damage Reduction for 1 minute.
The third turret is Base turret. As the name suggests, this turret is the last one before you can reach the enemy base.
Like the two previous turrets, the Base Turret also deals 560 True Damage every 1 second. He will also get the Holy Defense effect if the Inner Turret can be destroyed by the opponent within 12 minutes.
Holy Defense is an effect that will deal damage equivalent to 80% Max HP of the target on the next wave of enemy minions that enter its attack range. This effect will last for 12 minutes.
Apart from the things mentioned above, you also need to know 3 interesting features in this game which will also help you in battle.
- magic Sentry – If there is a team hero in this area, Magic Sentry will activate and provide lighting in the nearby Jungle area for 6 seconds and reveal the whereabouts of enemies even if they are in the bushes.
- Bush – When you enter the bushes, the Bush effect will make you invisible and undetectable by opponents. You will only be seen if you launch an attack on them.
- Cyclones Eyes – When you pass it, Cyclone Eye will take you forward after being in place for 1.2 seconds. There are a total of 4 Cyclone Eyes in the Battlefield.
