The Ins and Outs of Borderlands 3

Maybe many of you here don't really understand this game. It's understandable, seeing as this game itself is a console-based linear game with a fairly niche (specific) fanbase.

Indeed, as a sequel game, Borderlands definitely has loyal fans. However, the name is not yet popular enough to attract the hearts of more ordinary gamers and those outside the community.

The FPS gameplay it offers is fairly standard, there are no special special features. The only selling point and uniqueness of this game is its graphics which are quite unique.

Developed by Gearbox Software, Borderlands 3 has a unique artstyle that is very synonymous with the characteristics of this game. Apart from that, this game is also quite linear.

Borderlands 3 can be played in single player or multiplayer (local splitscreen or online co-op). However, there is no ranking system like most contemporary online games.

For those interested, Borderlands 3 is available on many previous and current gen platforms. such as PlayStation (4 & 5), Xbox (One & Series X/S), Desktop (macOS & Windows), Nintendo Switch, to Cloud services (Google Stadia).

The first character is named Amara, with a class called Siren. Its power can channel internal energy to strengthen the body's resistance and attacks.

This power is called Phasetrance. As a result, when you start playing, there are three active skills that this character can use: Phasegrasp, Phasecast, and Phaseslam.

As a Siren, as her Skill Tree progresses, she will gain a variety of active skills. Not only that, these skills will also have elemental effects that can be selected.

The next character is Zane with the Operative class. As can be seen from his class type, Zane is a character with a military background: he is a mercenary.

With lore like that, don't be surprised if the gameplay tends to be like a soldier! His skills will take advantage of various battlefield equipment.

He has four active skills: Digi-Clone, SNTNL, Barrier, and MNTIS Shoulder Cannon (MSC). And with his unique ability, he can also use two of these four skills simultaneously (except MSC).

Then there is also Moze who is a (class) Gunner. Unlike Zane, Moze is a real soldier who joined an armed force known as Vladof.

What's even more exciting is that he is part of a special team called the Ursa Corps which rides a robot to compete on the battlefield. And yes, his special ability is using the robot.

When in robot mode, Moze will have four active skills: Shield of Retribution, Bottomless Mags, Demolition Woman, and Bear Mother. Apart from the last one, the other three skills will have additional variations as the Skill Tree develops.

FL4K (Beastmaster)

Lastly there is a robot named FL4K with the Beastmaster class. As a robot, its lore is also quite unique. It is said that, for whatever reason, the FL4K program system can experience consciousness.

As a result, he ran away from his master and tried to find his identity. And as a relatively innocent robot, he is liked by many animals.

This is also his unique ability: bringing pets and influencing enemies to become friends. There are four active skills, namely Fade Away, Rakk Attack!, Gamma Burst and Gravity Snare.
