As many people know, recently there has been news that the eight teams that have participated in MPL Indonesia are no longer allowed to take part in other competitions.

Despite the fact that there are lots of esports tournaments Mobile Legends: Bang Bang  others like League of Legends /LOL Wild Rift, Arena of Valor, and so forth. So then how does Moonton respond to this?

Last June, the community was shaken by rumors about the existence of an exclusive contract from MPL which threatened the participation of other Wild Rift Indonesia teams who are also competing in MPL. The rumor has stated that teams that have participated in the MPL tournament are not allowed to participate in the Wild Rift esports world.

Followed by other negative reactions coming from various parties, one of the sources from Moonton has clarified that these regulations only apply to teams which have signed an exclusive contract and also the nature of the exclusive contract is optional.

But unfortunately before this clarification was made public, a number of teams from Wild Rift Indonesia had already given signals that they would disband or had even disbanded, not knowing because of this rule or perhaps for other reasons such as for example having unsatisfactory results.

So one of the teams that has resigned from the LOL Wild Rift division is Alter Ego in mid-June. Furthermore, apart from Alter Ego, Brother Esports, DG Esports, and Morph Team also they have officially disbanded the LOL Wild Rift division.

Then two Wild Rift teams that have high rankings in Indonesia, namely Bigetron Infinity and Onic Esports There were rumors they would disband. The disbandment of the two teams will depend on the tournament results of the SEA Icon Series: Fall Indonesia which will be held in August.

However, if they fail to win the tournament, then there is a high possibility that the Wild Rift team belonging to the two teams will soon be disbanded.

Apart from that, Moonton Indonesia has opened its voice to respond to an issue that is being discussed in the world of game lovers in Indonesia, namely the monopoly issue that has been carried out by Moonton where they do not allow the MPL team to open other MOBA divisions.

Moonton, through his Head of Marketing and Business Development Manager, Martinus Manurung, in his press conference from MPL Indonesia Season 8, said that MPL teams are actually allowed to have MOBA divisions or other esports divisions.

The clarification that came from Moonton Indonesia has also explained to game fans in Indonesia that there is no such thing as a monopoly carried out by Moonton. So, teams participating in MPL may have any esports division and from any variety of genres to compete in competitive Indonesian esports circles.

According to the Head of Marketing and Business Development Manager for Moonton Indonesia, Martinus Manurung, inside Press Conference MPL ID Season 8, said that they really allow teams to play in other esports.

However, Moonton has a little explanation that there are several conditions which must be followed and carried out by MPL players in order to benefit from some of the facilities provided by Moonton.
