Citlali Elemental Ability Priority

Citlali's main ability is Elemental Skill. When using Elemental Skill, Citlali casts an Opal shield and summons Itzpapa, which deals AoE Cryo DMG that is in harmony with Nightsoul. 

Itzpapa is the one who will provide off-field Cryo DMG which actively provides support for the Cryo application.

You can also increase the level of Elemental Burst if you want Citlali to deal DMG and refill Nightsoul Points.  

So, if you sort the priority it will be Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attack.

Citlali Genshin Impact Build Recommendations

Citlali Genshin Impact is a 5-star support who can not only be a support for Cryo supply for Frozen and Melt reactions but is also a superior shield character.

All build recommendations ranging from artifacts, weapons, and others are adjusted with various alternatives so you can adjust to what you have.

Constellation Recommendations

According to the author, the most worthwhile constellation for you to get is C2. It doesn't mean that other constellations are not good, but C2 significantly changes Citlali's strength.

C2 Citlali can reduce enemy Pyro and Hydro RES by 20% for 12 seconds. In addition, it can increase the Elemental Mastery of the protected character, and allows Citlali's Elemental skill to provide a shield to nearby teammates as well.

Artifact and Weapon Recommendations

As an elemental reaction attack support, Elemental Mastery is the focus stat that you should pursue. At least, 200 Elemental Mastery must be owned by Citlali, even better than that.

The best choice of artifacts for Citlali is Hero of Cinder City. This specific artifact for Natlan characters that utilizes Nightsoul's Blessing will provide a buff to Citlali's overall abilities while also providing an additional Elemental DMG Bonus to characters on the team. 

Artifact Hero of Cinder City is highly recommended by the author for Citlali. However, you can also use the alternative Gilded Dreams which is also good for support because it provides great Elemental Mastery.

For weapons, of course, those with Elemental Mastery stats are a priority. The best choice you can use is the Catalyst Starcaller's Watch. Other alternatives are:

Team Recommendation for Citlali as Support

Citlali is a very good support to activate Melt or Freeze reactions. Therefore, Citlali will be suitable for Pyro or Hydro Main DPS characters.

One of his passive talents allows him to reduce both Elemental RES making him great for both elemental DPS.

Is Citlali suitable for Cryo DPS? The answer is no. Citlali's talent kit cannot provide Shred Cryo effects.

So, DPS or on-field Cryo players like Ganyu or Wriothesley won't benefit much from Citlali compared to other Shred supports like zhongli.

DPS like Mavuika, Hu Tao, Childe, Ayato, and other Hydro Pryo DPS will be good with Citlali who can be a shielder and support. Here are the Melt team's recommendations:
