EVOS Esports Group was founded on September 1, 2016. Now, EVOS Esports is now one of the largest esports companies in Southeast Asia.

He once said that the creation of EVOS Esports started from his love and passion for the world of esports and gaming.

Ivan Yeo admits to being a game fan DOTA 1. He plays this game almost every day and dreams of becoming a professional player, aka pro gamer.

This dream made Ivan Yeo try to take part in the Asian Electronics Games (AES). Unfortunately, he was eliminated from his team in the first round, which made him decide to enter the world of esports only through business. 

Unfortunately, at this time Ivan Yeo was diagnosed with Kennedy disease in 2017, a genetic condition that weakens and weakens the muscles in the body.

When he was first diagnosed, doctors said he had only five years to live and was now actively undergoing routine care.

Ivan Yeo admits that he will focus on his health. But that doesn't mean he has stopped working, this Singapore-born man is still working in the world of Esports, including managing EVOS.

Currently, he is less active in the team. However, he still always monitors and provides support to all the pro players in his own team.

The CEO of Evos Has Participated in a Tournament

Ivan Yeo graduated from Pacific University, Eberhardt School of Business with a Bachelor of Science, Finance in 2009-2013. His background in business proves that Ivan put it to good use.

Apart from being CEO of Evos Sport, Ivan Yeo also serves as CEO of ATTN Singapore (since July 2021), CEO of ATTN Group (January 2019-July 2021) and founder of WHIM Management Indonesia (May 2019 sd a).

Since he was a teenager, Ivan has been interested in denia sports. One of his favorite games is Dota 1. He likes to play this game with his friends. He always dreamed of becoming a professional player competing at the highest level at the international level.

Ivan and his friends joined together to take part in the AES (Asia Electronics Sports) tournament in 2015. He is indeed the best player in Singapore. But apparently Ivan was knocked out in the first round of the match.

Since then, Ivan believed that being a professional gamer was not for him. He should also be able to make his friends professional. Once again, Ivan tries to see esports through business. He managed to create an esports business called Evos Sports.

History of EVOS Esports Indonesia

This Esports team has become one of the biggest teams in Indonesia, even Southeast Asia, since its opening Integrated Training Center (ITF) first in Southeast Asia.

The team was first founded in 2016 with one division by Ivan Yeo. The first division that was announced for the first time was Dota 2 by acquiring the Zero Latitude team. At that time EVOS created a Dota 2 tournament, where EVOS would sponsor the winner.

Zero Latitude, which came in third place, was captured by EVOS Esports, because the winners of the first and second races of this tournament already have sponsors. 

The EVOS Dota 2 team consists of many players who are known by many Indonesian importers, such as Whitemon, the first Indonesian player to join The International, and Facehugger who currently plays on the Mobile Legends team, Aura Fire.

This is where the EVOS Esports division was born and started to develop since 2022. It's been going on for about 5 years now, and there are many game divisions going on.

Mobile Legends and Free Fire are currently one of the biggest divisions in EVOS, because these two divisions have succeeded in becoming world champions in every international tournament. Unfortunately the Dota 2 EVOS division will disappear in 2019 and will no longer focus on MOBA games.

To spread its wings, EVOS Esports has opened a Mobile Legends division in neighboring Singapore. Then there are free fire units in Thailand known as EVOS MG1, EVOS Insight and EVOS ROV.
