Catalyst, New Legend in Apex Legends

On November 1, 2022, Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts issued a new legend named Catalyst. The release of this Legend coincides with the change of season, from Apex Legends: Hunted Becomes Apex Legends: Eclipse.

Background – Last Hope

Legend Catalyst's real name is Tressa Crystal Smith who was born in 2705 in Boreas. According to fandoms, this woman whom Smith greeted was 29 years old. He has a fascination with reading crystals and participating in rituals of worshiping the moon.

One of the reasons why Smith adored the moon was because Cleo (the name of the Moon belonging to Planet Boreas) was on the verge of collapse. If we flashback to another Legend Legend Seer born when Cleo was hit by a meteor to disintegrate in years 2708.

Growing up, in 2720, Margo, a close friend of Smith's, invites her friends to save Cleo from Hammond Robotics and other organizations. However, only Smith wants to go along with Margo's plan. As a result, the two of them went to Cleo's surface.

New Legend Skill Catalyst: Apex Legends' Ferrofluid Ruler

After discussing all of Catalyst's background, it's time to discuss all of Catalyst's skills. You need to know, Catalyst is not a magician, but a Ferrofluid controller. It is a black liquid with very small metal particles.

Catalyst's passive skill is called Barricade. Catalyst will "strengthen" the door with the help of Ferrofluid. To open it, the enemy must attack it twice as much as it should. However, specifically for teammates, they can open it without destroying it.
