A while ago, we discussed gameplay for the newest Thoma, Burgeon Thoma.
Burgeon is a recently released elemental reaction Genshin Impact in update 3.0 as part of Dendro's elemental reactions.
This elemental reaction is considered to provide quite solid and unique damage because it involves a reaction between 3 elements at once.

Burgeon is one of the seven elemental reactions between the Dendro element and other elements.
As you know, Dendro has basic reactions (Bloom, Burning, and Quicken) as well as advanced elemental reactions (basic reactions + one other element).
Burgeon itself is a reaction resulting from Bloom (Dendro reacts with Hydro) which is applied with Pyro.
To produce the Burgeon reaction, you must follow this rotation:
An important rotation for Burgeon. If the sequence is wrong, the Burgeon reaction will not occur at all and will only be a Vaporize or Burning reaction.
Burgeon's DMG is calculated as 3 x level multiplier. The level multiplier for each level can be found in the scaling levels that you can access here.
Burgeon's DMG is only affected by the level and Element Mastery of the character causing the reaction, and the target enemy's RES.
Burgeon will also ignore the target's DEF and not be calculated based on the character's Crit Rate.
So, DMG due to Burgeon's reaction is only affected by: Elemental Mastery, Level Multiplier, and character's Base ATK (which can only be obtained by leveling up characters, ascensions, and weapons).

If you look at the game rotation to produce Burgeon, you will need DPS character with Pyro elements.
This is because, Pyro will be the last element that is applied to produce Burgeon.
Where you will also need characters with Hydro and Dendro elements as Support or Sub-DPS.
Artifacts that are suitable for use according to VCGamers there are 2 artifacts namely Crimson Witch of Flames and Flower of Paradise Lost.
Both artifacts will provide a bonus in the form of increasing DMG from Burgeon by 40% when used in full set or 4-PC.

As previously mentioned, DPS with Pyro elements is needed if you want to arrange team comps for Burgeon.
However, can all Pyro characters become DPS for team comps Burgeon? VCGamers has tried all the Pyro characters to prove this point.
Apart from the character elements and artifacts used, there are several important things that you must consider when choosing a DPS character for team comps Burgeon.
The most important thing according to VCGamers is the elemental ability (Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst) of the character being able to provide Pyro continuously at one time and duration.
The character's ability to apply Pyro and its duration is an important factor in the timing and rotation of team gameplay.
The Dendro seed produced by the Bloom reaction has a maximum duration of 6 seconds or a maximum of 6 Dendro seeds in the field before it explodes.
You have to use DPS Pyro which can apply Pyro quickly before the Dendro seed explodes.
The most popular character to become DPS in Burgeon is Thoma. Elemental Burst Thoma can apply Pyro quickly and continuously.
Besides Thoma, VCGamers advises Hu Tao, Yanfei, Bennett, Xiangling, Yoimiya, and Klee for you to make DPS.
Unnamed characters like Diluc and Xinyan are not because they don't fit.
According to VCGamers, the application of Pyro for these two characters is not fast and will instead cause a Vaporize reaction.
You will find it difficult to determine the right timing to react Burgeon before the Dendro seed explodes.
However, you can still make Xinyan and Diluc an option if you don't have other characters.
VCGamers does not recommend Amber because this character does not meet the criteria previously mentioned.
Xingqiu and Dendro Traveler VCGamers recommend as support because both characters are easy to get and provide qualified support.
You can also use Collei to replace Dendro Traveler.
Those are the various characters recommended as DPS for the Burgeon Genshin Impact team. Dehya which will soon be released in update 3.5 also looks like a perfect match for team Burgeon.
For those of you who want to get Dehya, don't forget you can buy a trusted Genesis Crystal for gacha at VCGamers Marketplace yes!
