Everyone unlocks Slowbro at Trainer Level 2 in Pokemon Unite, making him one of the most popular characters in games today. Here's the ultimate guide to moves, items, strategies and more!
Slowbro is a Role Defender, meaning you will be able to take a lot of damage from enemies. However, unlike the tankier Snorlax, it has some great support moves.
The best Slowbro players are masters of combat control, but can also do some good damage using ranged attack moves. However, be wary of his low speed and scoring ability.
When you choose Slowbro in Pokemon Unite, you will start off as a Slowpoke. Then, at level 4, you will evolve into Slowbro.
Oblivious – Everyone will lose HP gradually. Slowbro will "forget" to take some of the damage when it hits an opponent with his movement. It also weakens the opponent's special defense.
Basic Attack – Becomes an enhanced attack in every third attack. When this boosted attack hits, it deals damage to opposing Pokemon in an area of effect and reduces their Sp. Def for a short time.
Like all characters in Pokemon Unite, you can choose one move for Slowbro at level 1, and another at Level 3.
Water Guns – 5s Cooldown – Shoots water that damages and slows down opponents. Longer use results in more damage.
Slack Off – Cooldown 11 seconds – Restores HP when used. Moving or taking damage reduces this effect.
Slack Off is a good move, but you have to choose your Water Gun first. This is so you can deal more damage and defeat Wild Pokemon faster.
Scald – 5s Cooldown – Inflicts damage to Pokémon and burns them up, causing them to move slower and take damage over time.
Upgrades: Increases the steam effect area
Surf – Cooldown 9s – Summons 3 water waves that damage, displace, and slow down enemies in their path.
Upgrades: Makes the last 2 waves bigger, knocking the opponent out.
You'll want to select Surf for this option – as Dash, it really helps with Slowbro's slow movement speed. Blisters can also be effective but are clearly the worse of the two.
Amnesia – 13 second cooldown – Cancels some delayed damage. Then it becomes immune to war control effects and increases defense. Empower the next Scald or Surf.
Upgrades: Increase Sp. Attack
Telekinesis – Cooldown 11 seconds – Elevates the opponent. On second activation: Pulls your opponent towards you.
Upgrades : Increase moving speed and range.
Both options are good for him, but we recommend Amnesia as they make you very hard to kill. Telekinesis is also great, but you need to be very coordinated with your team to make the most of it.

Unite Move – Slowbeam – Presses and fights opponents with a steel-like state, causing damage over time. Slowbro becomes unstoppable and gains a shield for the duration.
It acts like a more powerful version of Telekinesis. You'll want to use this to temporarily put enemy Attackers out of action so your team can attack targets.
