Lucario is one of the favorite Pokemon of players Pokemon Unite, sporting the quick moves and punchy familiarity, Lucario looks like a Pokemon to be reckoned with. Here's a guide on the best way to play Lucario, including the best moves, items, strategies & more.
Pokemon Unite started off with a recent release, but it doesn't get any better in Pokemon Unite's Lucario release. Of the many Pokemon that like to attack from a distance, Lucario prefers to join in as a versatile fighter capable of delivering some serious punches.
Interestingly, this Pokemon is an All-Rounder type, this means that it is balanced and good at everything. However, Lucario's main focus given the fighting type nature of Pokemon is his focus on Melee or melee attacks.
To play Lucario well you have to face the enemy team, we give you the best way to beat the enemy in Pokemon Unite.
Interestingly, all Pokemon get the choice of one move or the other at level 1 but don't worry, you will get access to the others starting at level 3.
QuickAttack – 6 second cooldown – Makes the user lunge forward at a speed that makes them almost invisible, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon they come into contact with.
Meteor Mash – 7s Cooldown – Explodes forward with a comet-like punch, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon and pushing them back.
Meteor Mash is the best choice for Lucario given his ability to push enemies above to close gaps. This makes it slightly better than Quick Attack for the extra 1 second added to its cooldown.
Extreme Speed – 9 second cooldown – Makes the user progress at an astonishing speed. If this move hits an opposing Pokemon at close range, its cooldown will reset and restore the user's HP. However, the cooldown cannot be continuously reset by using this move on the same opponent several times in a row.
Upgrades: Also increases Attack for a short time when this move is used.
Power-Up Punch – 7s Cooldown – Charges up before unleashing a powerful attack. As the user charges up, their movement speed decreases but their Attack slowly increases and the damage they take decreases.
The user then charges in the specified direction and releases this move, dealing more damage the lower the opposing Pokemon's remaining HP and making its next basic attack an enhanced attack if the move hits. This move's cooldown decreases each time one of the user's moves hits.
Upgrades: The user becomes immune to obstacles while charging.
The Power-Up Punch is easily the better choice as it offers explosive damage, displacement, increased defense, increased attack and immunity to obstacles. Furthermore, on top of this Power-Up Punch it also offers a shorter cooldown time and works with Lucario's Unite Move.
Bone Rush – 10s Cooldown – Performs a combo attack with bones, dealing multiple damaging blows to opposing Pokemon and pushing them away. The final strike sent his bones flying. If this move is used again while the bone is moving, the user rushes to the location of the bone, dealing damage to nearby opposing Pokemon.
Upgrades: Using this move again will reset the cooldown for Extreme Speed or Power-Up Punch.
Close Combat – Cooldown 9s – Unleashes a combo attack, dealing multiple hits to opposing Pokemon and pushing them away.
Upgrades: Increases the damage dealt by this move.
Again, Bone Rush offers a lot more versatility than Close Combat, essentially giving Lucario the option of a free dash or escape, an easy choice.
