Heizou Genshin Impact will debut in update 2.8. You can use the best Heizou Genshin Impact builds, including artifacts, weapons, and teams.

Shikanoin Heizou Genshin Impact is a 4-star Anemo Catalyst character in Genshin Impact. He is one of the most unique characters in the game, who fights with Anemo-infused martial arts.

Heizou's full kit has been leaked and he is a main DPS character, dealing damage with support from sub-DPS off the field.

The Heizou Genshin Impact banner is part of the 2.8 patch. In this article, VCGamers will present a guide to building the best Genshin Impact Heizou in 2022, including talent, gear, and team comps.

Heizou Genshin Impact guide

Heizou is a young detective from the Tenryou Commission. Free-spirited and unruly, but cheerful and lively. At first glance, Heizou appears to be an ordinary young man, but he is actually the undisputed number one detective in the Tenryou Commission.

skills

Heizou Genshin Impact

Heartstopper Strike (CD: 10s)

  • Tap: Forward punch, deal Anemo DMG.
  • Hold: Prepares for a stronger punch, gaining 1 stack of Declination every 0.75 seconds held for up to a maximum of 4 stacks. The more stacks he has, the higher the damage. At max stacks, Heizou's skill gains the Conviction effect which makes attacks stronger and increases his AoE.
  • Declination stacks can be obtained by triggering a vortex reaction.

This is Heizou's primary method of dealing damage. Combined with his A1 talent, he can deal decent damage with a max stack of Heartstopper Strike.

If you fully stack E via Swirls, you can tap E and still get the full effect. Stacks stay up to 60 seconds, even if Heizou is off the court. It is recommended that you level up Heizou to 90, as Swirl DMG increases with level.

Windmuster Kick (CD: 12s)

Heizou jumps into the air, and sends out an explosive kick that deals AoE Anemo DMG and pulls nearby enemies. When interacting with Pyro/Hydro/Electro/Cryo, the enemy will be hit by Windmuster Iris.

Iris explodes after a while and deals AoE DMG from the absorbed elements. A maximum of 4 opponents can be hit by Iris. One opponent cannot be under the influence of more than one Iris at a time. Overall, his Burst should be used to manage his skills.

Heizou's explosion scales squarely, meaning that when one enemy is hit, the instance can splatter onto other nearby enemies. 2 enemies, 4 attack damage. This means that the more enemies you can catch with their explosions, the higher the splash damage between them.

Talent Constellation and Priority

Material

Overall, C1 Heizou Genshin Impact is the most useful, as Heizou usually enters the field after a support character casts skills off the court. This also gives him an extra stack of Declination, making his combos more consistent.

The other constellations aren't as strong, outside of C6. If players make it to C6, Heizou's Heartstopper Strike will be able to deal some insane damage.

Heizou is a DPS character who primarily deals damage with his powerful elemental skills. The player has to maximize it first then focus on his normal attack and explode.

Artifact

Artifact

Viridescent Venerer x4 is the ultimate artifact set for Heizou without equal. 40 percent RES damage makes this set invaluable in most scenarios. Alternatively, you can use Viridescent Venerer x2 + Gladiators' Finale x2 if you are struggling to get good stats on Venerer pieces.

The following 3 options are best for Heizou's main stats (for sand, trophies and crowns:

  • Element Mastery / Anemo DMG Bonus / Element Mastery
  • 3x Element Mastery percent
  • Attack / Anemo DMG Bonus / Element Mastery

Sub statistics, for the most part, are straightforward. You want more EM when facing multiple targets and more Crit/ATK percent when facing a single target.

  • Multi-Target Priority AND/OR high ATK percent of primary weapon/stats: EM > ATK percent > Crit
  • Single Target Priority: Crit >= ATK percent > EM

Weapon

Heizou Genshin Impact

Skyward Atlas can increase his Elemental DMG Bonus by 12 percent. Normal Attack attacks have a 50 percent chance to gain support from a cloud that actively seeks nearby enemies to attack for 15 seconds. Deals 160 percent ATK DMG. Can only happen once every 30s.

Increases Movement SPD by 10 percent. While in battle, gain 8 percent Elemental DMG Bonus every 4 seconds for up to 4 stacks. Lasts until the character falls or leaves the battle.

When a character takes the field, they will receive a random theme song for 10 seconds. This can only happen once every 30s. Recitative: ATK increased by 60 percent, Aria: Increases all Elemental DMG by 48 percent. Interlude: Elemental Mastery increased by 240.

Normal Attacks increase Elemental Skills and Elemental Burst DMG by 20 percent for 6 seconds. Similarly, an Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hit increases Normal Attack DMG by 20 percent for 6 seconds. Triggering an elemental reaction deals 8 percent bonus Elemental DMG for 10 seconds for up to 2 stacks.

Team

Yelan
  • Shikanoin Heizou + Yelan/Xingqiu + Yae Miko/Beidou + Fischl/Kuki Shinobu

This team comp delivers consistent damage by taking advantage of Heizou's constant vortex interactions with DPS off the field. Xingqiu use, Beidou and Fischl make the team quite f2p friendly. Realistically, Fischl should be able to keep up with the Beidou and Yae ER matters.

Players can also switch electro characters with Bennett, as his heals and buffs are always useful. Kuki Shinobu is still the best healer for the Electro-Charged team of course.

  • Shikanoin Heizou + Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett

Heizou could easily become the main damage dealer in the national lineup. You will need Emblem Of Severed Fate x4 at Xiangling and Xingqiu. This team is good for single and multi targets. Players may have already prepared their National Team for Heizou to be added.

However, this is also a weakness, because Xiangling + Xingqiu + Bennett are commonly playable characters and can cause trouble for the other team.
