Character Pokemon Unite the latest is here, and this Gardevoir build has the potential to be one of the strongest Pokemon builds.

Pokemon Unite has been out for a month now, and this latest MOBA is already garnering attention. Now, Pokemon is getting its first post-launch update, bringing with it Pokemon Unite's first DLC character!

We already knew that Blastoise and Blissey would be joining the cast soon, but we didn't expect Gardevoir to drop in week 2. Then again, with hundreds of Pokemon to choose from, it might not be hard to create new ones.

But where does Gardevoir fall on the Pokemon Unite tier list? We'll have to wait and see, as the all-powerful Special Assaulter definitely has the damage output needed to be lethal in a team fight.

Gardevoir Build – Pokemon Unite

Evolution

When selecting Gardevoir, you start the game as Ralts and must evolve to your final form. you evolve into Kirlia at level 6 and Gardevoir at level 10.

Unique Ability

Synchronization – Reflects any slowdown received and damage hurdles over time back to the attacker.

Basic Attack – Every third attack deals area damage and reduces Sp. All opponents' Def is hit for a short time.

Levels 1/3

Confusion – 4.5s Cooldown – Shoots a psychic blast straight ahead.

teleport – 11 second cooldown – Swirls to the nearest area and increases the next basic attack.

We always take Confusion first to help with early Farming Wild Pokemon. It also packs a punch against enemy players.

Make sure not to stray too far into enemy territory or you'll be caught without escaping!

Level 6

Psyshock – 10s Cooldown – Fires three psychic blasts straight ahead. Each impact reduces this move's cooldown.

Upgrades: Damage increase.

Future Sight – 9 second cooldown – Sets a delayed explosion. If hit, the cooldown is reduced.

Upgrades: Instant cooldown on hit.

While both of Gardevoir's Level 6 moves deal massive damage, you should almost always choose Future Sight. The attack is one of the game's most powerful moves, and difficult to dodge without dashes or items.

What's more, after upgrading a move, you can use it again instantly if you hit an enemy – turning Gardevoir into a walking nuke.

Level 8

Psychic – 7s Cooldown – Fires an energy ball that explodes at a distance, or on impact, slows enemies in an area.

Upgrades: Reduced cooldown.

Moonblast – Cooldown 6s – Jumps back and throws a blast of psychic energy, stunning the first opponent it hits and damaging the others in a cone.

Upgrades: Provides a shield.

Even though Psychic produces a poke that deals enormous damage, it is also a perfect combination with Future Sight as it is slow. However, Moonblast gives you a similar combination of attacks, but will stun enemies and damage others around them.

Moonblast also gives you a bit more survivability due to the shield and the movement when used. It's a tough call, but we'll be going with Moonblast on this one.

Level 10

Unite Move – Fairy Singularity – Warps space into an infinitesimal point, pulling opponents towards the singularity before exploding and displacing them.

Fairy Singularity is a powerful Unite Move, especially when combined with Future Sight and other AOE abilities. Gardevoir is easily capable of ruining the entire team's day with the push of a button.

Best Gardevoir Item – Pokemon Unite

When playing Gardevoir, here are the best items to use in Pokemon Unite:

Hold items

• Shell Bell – Special attack heals 45 HP, plus Sp percentage. Atk. We
• Wise Glasses – Increases special attack damage.
• Energy Booster – After using Unite Move, you deal extra damage for a short time.

All of the items above will ensure that your Gardevoir is able to do its best - destroy the enemy team absolutely.

Battle Items

Without a doubt, the Eject Button is key when playing Gardevoir to give you the escape you need from a disadvantageous situation. X Attack is also a popular choice but it's a bit over the top for crazy damage dealers and leaves you barely able to escape the battle.

Gardevoir Strategy in Pokemon Unite

• Gardevoir has excellent range and great damage but the Pokemon suffers in melee situations. Early game, use Teleport to escape enemy players, as well as your Eject Button. Late game Moonblast will help, but you guys have less escape potential, so stay out of harm's way.
• Use Fairy Singularity along with Future Sight and Moonblast to nuke the entire enemy team at once. It's also the perfect way to secure Zapdos in a team fight down the middle.
• Be careful with your opponents! Gardevoir will face stiff resistance from Pokemon like Absol and Gengar, two of the most popular meta picks at the moment.
• Try and always stick with teammates, as enemy gangs will wipe Gardevoir out of play easily.
