Garchomp's Saddest Build Pokemon Unite: Best Moves, Items, Strategies & More
Garchomp Build
Evolution
When choosing Garchomp Pokemon Unite, you start the game as Gible and must evolve it to its final form. you evolve into Gabite at level 6 and Garchomp at level 10.
Unique Ability
- Rough Skin – Deals melee damage back to the attacker.
- Basic Attack – Becomes an enhanced attack with every fifth strike, dealing increased damage and restoring the user's HP. Every time one of the user's attacks or basic moves hits an opposing Pokémon, the speed of the user's basic attack increases
Moves
Levels 1/3
Bulldoze – Cooldown 5s – Steps to the ground, damaging nearby opponents in AOE.
Sand Attack – Cooldown 6s – Throws sand to give enemies the Nearsight debuff. On hitting, gives increased movement and attack speed.
Sand Attack is a better choice for one-on-one combat in Pokemon Unite. However, Bulldoze will definitely help in early team fights, so consider taking this step second unless you're looking for some early game involvement.

Level 6
dig – Cooldown 9s – Digs underground, becomes untargetable. Erupts from the ground on contact with an opponent, damaging and displacing enemies in an area. When combined with the Earthquake, the eruption is bigger.
Upgrades: Movement Speed Increase
Dragon Rush – Cooldown 8s – Dives into the ground, displacing opponents.
Upgrades: Slows down an opponent pushed to maximum displacement.
Both Dig and Dragon Rage are excellent moves, with Garchomp Pokemon Unite dashing towards enemies underground. However, Dig's combination with Earthquake produces an excellent combo move.
On the other hand, if you're thinking about picking up Dragon Claw next, Dragon Rush could be an excellent choice for maximum enemy displacement.
Level 8
Earthquake – Cooldown 7s – Crashes into the ground from high in the air, damaging nearby opponents.
Upgrades: Slows down an opponent caught in AOE.
Dragon Claws – Cooldown 5s – Dash forward, slash twice. The first replaces the opponent. The second is enhanced attack, followed by increased attack speed.
Upgrades: Increased damage dealt.
Quake is something of Pokemon Unite's iconic Garchomp move, and most players will no doubt opt to execute a powerful attack. However, choosing Dragon Claw makes Garchomp Pokemon Unite an excellent one-on-one threat.
Level 10
Unite Move – Livid Outrage – Unleash powerful chain attacks. The final attack displaces the opponent, but stuns Garchomp.
Using Garchomp's Unite Move will allow you to use 5 devastating attacks in a row before temporarily knocking yourself out. This is a finishing blow, not an attack so make sure to time it right, when the enemy team looks a little weak.
Best Garchomp Items
When playing with Garchomp in Pokemon Unite, we recommend that you use the following items.
Hold Items
- Rocky Helmet – After taking a certain amount of damage, deals Percent Damage to nearby enemies.
- Assault Vest – When exiting battle, gain a percentage of your maximum health as a special attack blocking shield.
- Leftovers – When not in battle, recover 1% of your HP every second.
Alternatively, picking up Float Stones for extra Move Speed outside of combat, or Muscle Bands for higher Basic Attack damage on strong opponents are also good options.
Battle Items
Garchomp Pokemon's best Battle Item is probably X-Speed to help him chase enemies and secure kills with ease. However, the Eject Button is often a better all-round item that can get you in or out of battle in an instant!
Garchomp Pokemon Unite strategy
- Garchomp is an all-rounder but don't make the mistake of believing yourself to be a tank. you want to get in and out of battle fast.
- Use your quick skills to distract enemies from using their own moves. Your task is to distract the opposing team and deal massive damage in explosions.
- Dragon Rush and Dig are both very good combatants, use them to speed up combat with enemies, especially when catching them alone.
- Thanks to Garchomp's healing of his Basic Attacks, he becomes an excellent Jungler. Consider taking him to your Wild Pokemon camp and helping your team's paths when needed to secure kills or interfere with scoring.
