Build Freminet Genshin Impact: Skills, Artifacts, Weapons and Team Comps

Holla Vicigers! we will discuss the build for the newest 4 star Cryo character Genshin Impact namely Freminet.

The “little brother” of twins Lyney and Lyenette is a very suitable character for you to build as an on field DPS or DPS who has a long duration in the battle arena.

Even though it has a timid character, Freminet can deal DMG from a very large Shatter reaction. The following is a guide and recommendations for building Freminet.

Freminet Talent and Character Ascension Materials

The following is a list of materials needed to increase Freminet's ascension level:

• Drop material Normal Boss Icewind Suite (Nemesis of Coppelius): Artificed Spare Clockwork Component — Coppelius
• Shivada Jade Stone (Silver, Chunk, Emerald, and Gemstone)
• Romaritime Flower
• Material drops from Fontemer Abberants: Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal.

Apart from that, Freminet will also need materials to increase talents (Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst), namely:

• Drops material from Weekly boss Guardian of Apep's Oasis: Worldspan Fern
• Drop materials from Fontemer Abberants: Transoceanic Pearl, Transoceanic Chunk, and Xenochromatic Crystal

Best Constellation for Build Freminet Genshin Impact

Since the Freminet talent kit focuses on Shatter elemental reactions (Frozen + Physical elements), you should prioritize your build, artifacts, and party. However, the constellation from Freminet is good for further enlarging DMG.

If you are aiming for Freminet, we recommend Constellation 1 (C1) which can increase Crit DMG, and Constellation 4 (C4) and 6 (C6) which increase ATK and Crit DMG from Shatter, Frozen and Superconduct reactions.

Skill Priority for Build Freminet Genshin Impact

Normal Attack Freminet Genshin Impact will give 4 Claymore attacks which give Physical DMG to the enemy.

Elemental Skill from Freminet Pressurized Floe will deal Cryo DMG and a vertical hit. Additionally, Freminet enters Press Timer mode.

The Press Timer can be seen from the presence of a Freminet Penguin doll named Press and it floats next to Freminet and lasts for 10 seconds.  

When Press Timer is active, Freminet's Elemental Skill will increase the pressure which can change to Shaterring Pressure.

You can increase Shattering Pressure by increasing the level called Pressure Level by using Freminet's Normal Attack.

There are 0-4 major levels of Pressure Level. At level 0-3, you can press the Elemental Skill button to attack enemies with Shattering Pressure.

At Pressure Level 4, the final attack will automatically become Shattering Pressure which is marked by Freminet throwing Press at the enemy.

The biggest difference between Pressure levels is that the higher the Pressure Level, the greater the Physical DMG. Meanwhile, the smaller the Pressure Level, the greater the Cryo DMG.

Elemental Burst from Freminet is Shadowhunter's Ambush, Freminet will deal AoE Cryo DMG to the enemy and reset the Elemental Skill cooldown time to be ready for use.

When using Elemental Burst too, Freminet will enter a mode called Subnautical Hunter.

During this mode, Freminet will get increased Resistance to Interruption which means Freminet will not bounce even if it is hit by an enemy attack.

 During this 10 second mode, Elemental Skills will also get buffs in the form of:

• Cooldown duration reduced by 70%.
• Normal Attack will increase Press Timer mode will get an increase of 1 additional Pressure Level
• Increased Normal Attack 200% from the initial DMG owned.

Prioritize which talents you should maximize first is Elemental Skill = Normal Attack > Elemental Burst. 

You can build Freminet into Cryo DPS or Physical DPS because both rely on Shatter.

The thing that differentiates the two builds is the rotation of talent usage when you play. The following is the rotation depending on the build:

• Physical build: Skill -> Normal Attack Pressure Lv. 4 -> Elemental Burst (ready) -> Skill -> Normal Attack -> Switch to another character
• Cryo build: Elemental Burst -> Elemental Skill -> Normal Attack Pressure Lv.0

Artifacts Suitable for Build Freminet Genshin Impact

The stats Freminet needs are ATK, Cryo/ Physical DMG Bonus, Crit Rate/ Crit DMG.

Energy Recharge could be the right sub stat choice you are looking for besides Crit and ATK. Freminet will require approximately 130 to 150 ER%.

According to the build you want, artifact recommendations will also follow. 4-PC Pale Flames is the right choice for a Physical build. 

You can combine Pale Flame with artifacts that give ATK bonuses such as Shimenawa's Reminiscence, Echoes of an Offering, Gladiator Finale, and others.

Build Cryo will of course be suitable for using 4-PC Golden Troupe or Blizzard Strayer. Both artifacts are also very good for you to combine.

Recommended Weapons for Build Freminet Genshin Impact

Almost all weapons, both F2P and 5 star weapons, can still be used by Freminet.

For F2P options or weapons that you can make, you can use Archaic Prototype, Tidal Shadow, or Blackliff Slasher. Meanwhile, the Snow-tombed Star Silver weapon can be used specifically to build Physical Freminet.

The 5 star weapons that you can use are Skyward Pride, Redhorn Stonethersher, or Beacon of the Reed Sea. Meanwhile, Song of the Broken Pines could be an option for building Physical Freminet.

Recommended Team Composition (Party Setup) for Build Freminet Genshin Impact

Recommendations for characters in the party for Freminet depend on whether you want Freminet as a Cryo DPS or Physical DPS.

The author recommends Physical Build more because the Skill calculation is greater, especially the Press Timer mode calculates the DMG amount from the Physical amount more than Cryo.

Both builds will require Freminet with a Hydro support character like Yelan or Xingqiu to be able to produce Shatter. Kokomi and Barbara can also be used but the application of the Hydro element is not as good as Yelan and Xingqiu.

Team recommendations for building Physical Freminet are as follows:

• Freminet + Xingqiu + Fischl + Nahida
• Freminet + Yelan + Raiden Shogun + Mika
• Freminet + Xingqiu + Kuki Shinobu + Nahida
• Freminet + Rosaria + Xingqiu + Kazuha

• Freminet + Yelan + Rosaria + Shenhe
• Freminet + Xingqiu + Shenhe + Kokomi
