Emelie Genshin Talent Explanation

Before discussing the best build for Emelie, it's a good idea to have a common understanding of the talents of this new Genshin character.

Emelie is a character who can launch four steps of physical damage. As an Off Field DPS character, Emelie's main strength lies in her skills. 

Emelie's skill is a Green Lantern that can be active for 22 seconds and its cooldown is only 14 seconds. It can be said that Emelie's power can apply all the time. 

The active lantern can deal damage to enemies every 1.5 seconds. The higher the lantern level, the higher the damage Emelie will produce up to 4 times. 

Emelie's green lantern can only reach level two. The question is how to keep it at level 2? 

So, when Emelie first activates the skill, the green lantern will be at level 1. Every time burning occurs, Emelie's damage will increase and a green flower (scent) will appear. 

When Scent will appear every time burning occurs and lasts for 2 seconds. Scent will be absorbed by the lantern, then the lantern will level up when it absorbs 2 green flowers. 

Now, if the lantern does not absorb Scent for 7-8 seconds, the lantern will return to level 1.
