Studio MAPPA has produced several original anime that are famous throughout the world, such as Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen.

So, in 2024, Studio MAPPA will release its newest anime, entitled Bucchigiri, with the Yanki or School Gang genre and provides comedy, fantasy and supernatural elements in it.

This anime is a Japanese animated series from Studio MAPPA which aired from January 13 to April 6 2024 on TXN (TV Tokyo) and Crunchyroll with 12 episodes and a duration of 24 minutes each episode.

When looking at the site MyAnimeList, this Bucchigiri anime received a score of 6.61 from 29,164 users, whereas if you review it from the site IMDb received a rating of 6.3/10. Even so, this Studio MAPPA anime is still a favorite for Wibu.

Apart from that, the Bucchigiri anime received a PG-13 rating which is suitable for teenagers aged 13 and over to watch.

Bucchigiri was written by Take Kishimoto and directed by Hiroko Utsumi, and the music was arranged by Michiru Oshima and the characters were illustrated by Takahiro Kagami.

The opening song is entitled "Sasame" sung by Kroi, while the closing song is entitled "Love Je T'aime" sung by Mahiru Coda.

The plot tells of Arajin Tomoshibi returning to his hometown and reuniting with his childhood friend, Matakara Asamine. And the two of them were caught in a fight between gangs until they met Jin Senya.

The Bucchigiri anime tells the story of Arajin Tomoshibi who is caught in a fight with his old friend Matakara Asamine.

The friendship that was initially calm and peaceful has now changed so much that it has experienced quite significant changes. Where, they are trapped in a problem and have different strengths and ambitions.

The story is quite tense because it shows scenes of Arajin Tomoshibi and Matakara Asamine fighting several mysterious opponents and challenges that are not difficult enough.

One day, there was a big threat who appeared in the form of a monster demon and had red hair.

The genie is named Senya who is able to create haunted shadows during Arajin Tomoshibi and Matakara Asamine's journey.

Arajin Tomoshibi must be able to face the bets and conflicts that come his way. Of course, this cannot be separated from his conflict with Matakara Asamine and the genie Senya.
