Black Desert Update: There is a New Life Skill Feature 

Black Desert has had an update. This was conveyed via their official X account, @NewBlackDesert. 

One of the things that is present in the Black Desert update is the newly added family-based Life Skill feature.

This feature allows you to reduce your character's workload. The feature also aims to adjust J's Hammer of Precession and Ancient Anvil upgrades.

Black Desert Family Based Life Skill Feature

The Family-based Life Skill feature in the latest Black Desert update has an impact on simpler gameplay.

Once you update the game, all previously collected character Life Skills become Family based. The Life Skills that have been collected previously will be integrated into the Life Skill Family level. 

The Life Skill Family level resulting from this integration will include the abilities to gather, fish, hunt, cook, alchemy, processing, training, trade, farming, selling and bartering. 

Apart from that, your Life Skill level will increase after updating. However, no influence certain mastery points.

This update will adjust Family Fame so that there are few significant changes to the speed of repairing buildings during war and siege warfare.

Other Content Updates in Black Desert Game 

The Black Desert update on April 24 2024 also includes a musical instrument settings update, the second update for Trace, Essence, and Fruit.  So in this update all sources for getting Trace, Essence and Fruit will change.

So you no longer have to defeat monsters or collect boxes to get these items.

After updating you can only get the unified version of these three items. This change in item model affects several missions. 

Missions that previously required Traces, Fruits, and Essence will also become simpler. From previously having to harvest one Fruit of Nature and Fruits of Abundance, now players only need to harvest two Fruits of Nature. 

Then, if previously players had to harvest one Fruit of Magic Power, Fruit of Perfection, and Fruit of the Sun, now harvesting 3 Fruit of Nature is the same as harvesting those three Fruit items. 

Furthermore, this Black Desert update also includes adjusting the default volume for several musical instrument sounds in the game.

The sounds of musical instruments that have been adjusted include the Flochestra Acoustic Guitar, Flochestra Contrabass and Flochestra Violin.
