Best Mobile Gaming 2021

When it came to making this list of the best mobile FPS games of 2021, many certainly made sure to include shooters of all shapes and sizes on Android and iOS to give you an idea of the type of games you can play. It includes first-person and third-person shooter games.

For the most part, I made sure to keep this list of the best mobile FPS games of 2021 only for the games you can download for free on Android and iOS without having to pay real world money to own and download them. This is important because it is understandable that someone would not want to spend money on mobile games in the first place.

Fortunately, the way our list of the best mobile FPS games of 2021 works, there are some very high-quality games that you can download for free and start playing without paying a penny. There's no reason that you can't have an amazing and beautiful shooter experience on your phone or tablet.

As for the criteria included in this list of the best mobile FPS games for 2021, the first and most important part is gameplay. If the gameplay is fun, there's a good chance it's worth checking out. But that's not the only factor that made its way into our list of the 10 best mobile FPS games of 2021.

In addition to gameplay, quality, graphics, story (if applicable), maps, modes, content, progression, cosmetics, monetary system, popularity and so on also play a role in shaping the list and its order. This list is ranked from least to best group which you should check out if you haven't already.

Without further ado, let's take a look at our list of the best mobile FPS games of 2021 that you can download and play right now on Android and iOS.

Call Of Duty Mobile

Call Of Duty Mobile

When it comes to the number one game on the list of the best mobile FPS games for 2021, no one can win at the moment other than Call of Duty Mobile. The attempt to bring the series to mobile was a tremendous and unprecedented success, fully embodying the best parts of the annual military shooter on Android and iOS.

For starters, there's the classic gameplay of the series here and it translates perfectly into the mobile environment. It's fast-paced and powerful, with great customization, progression, and content. Call of Duty Mobile is unrivaled on mobile in terms of what you can do in a sniper game.

For those who prefer traditional multiplayer, there's a growing list of maps from across the franchise and lots of beautiful, familiar game modes. If you want something a little more battle royale in style, you can enjoy one of the best battle royale experiences on mobile. And if you prefer Zombies, there's that too, though this is definitely one of the parts that should grow a lot more. Call of Duty Mobile is truly a console-like experience on mobile that feels right and is easily the best mobile shooter game you can download for free on Android and iOS right now.

PUBG Mobile : New State

New STATE

Starting this list of the best mobile FPS games of 2021 is also one of the newest games in it: PUBG New State. The latest in the PUBG series, New State appears to be a sequel to the original PUBG and PUBG Mobile. Taking place decades after the events of PUBG, it is meant to be the future of PUBG.

PUBG New State is by no means a bad game, or it wouldn't be on this list, but it sure is odd. In many ways, it feels like it's copying itself and what PUBG Mobile did, but with some minor UI tweaks, plus a new Troi map.

Troi is a great map in PUBG New State, but one that isn't as futuristic as one might expect. That said, it's PUBG's newest game and, while content is lacking at the moment, there's a good chance it will replace PUBG Mobile one day, so it might be worth jumping in early with this very familiar but still a fun and engaging battle royale title.

Dead Trigger 2

Dead Trigger 2

Going from one end of the spectrum to the other, we have one of the oldest games on this list: Dead Trigger 2. I remember downloading this game years ago as a showstopper that I would use to test the new Android phones I was reviewing at the time. .

Little did I know that the story-driven zombie adventure that pushed the envelope for graphics on mobile at the time was still going strong in 2021. But that's the case and Dead Trigger 2 benefits from the community and great developers that support the game. well.

There's a reason Dead Trigger 2 still holds up today because it's a Left 4 Dead-like experience with lots of different regions, customization, and content to enjoy. Until Dead Trigger 3 one day comes out, hopefully it will be one of the best zombie experiences you can find on mobile.

Infinity Ops 2

Infinity Ops 2

There have been a lot of comparisons between Infinity Ops and Call of Duty Mobile, and for good reason. Set far into the future, this is a game filled with mechanics and various classes that define the fast-paced, jetpack-centric gameplay. In many ways, it's also like the Titanfall series but for mobile.

The game is beautiful to look at, with a great sci-fi environment to explore and a fun shooter game that helps keep it interesting. The multiplayer is good, though the game modes and maps are a bit lacking at the moment. Hopefully, in the future, there will be more options for players to check out.

That said, Infinity Ops is a great choice for the Infinite Warfare and Black Ops 3 fans out there who prefer a lighter gameplay experience compared to the more down-to-earth Call of Duty Mobile, or just want to try something different on the multiplayer side of things.

Hitman Sniper

Hitman

Moving away from multiplayer-focused games for a bit, we have Hitman: Sniper, the classic Hitman experience on mobile. This spin-off of the killer console and PC series brings Agent 47 to mobile by focusing on his mission to become an elite sniper only.

There are tons of missions, areas and customization that you can enjoy throughout the game's progression as you try to take down your targets. As the name suggests, it's focused on sniping only, so you're missing some of the staples from this series.

That said, the sniper element is fantastic and well thought out, creating a strategic experience that feels uniquely made for mobile without compromising the fun of the Hitman series in general. Hitman fans who love mobile games should definitely not miss this exciting spin-off title.

PUBG Mobile

PUBG Mobile

While Fortnite is a fantastic game, admittedly, it doesn't put the gunplay and shooter elements of the battle royale experience first and foremost. On the other hand, PUBG Mobile is not only the game that popularized the genre, but is also based on a strong shooter gameplay.

Playable in first-person or third-person, PUBG Mobile is a competent mobile port of the original PC game that stands alone and arguably surpasses its predecessors. With lots of quality battle royale maps and other game modes, there's a lot to love about this game.

PUBG Mobile is also one of the tougher and more down-to-earth mobile shooters that takes itself quite seriously. If you're looking for an experience that has grown rapidly over the last few years into a jam-packed and wildly fun mobile title, this might be the one for you.

Fortnite

Fortnite games

What is there to say about Fortnite other than what has already been said on the many other lists that have been included, such as the best battle royale games of 2021? Fortnite took the world by storm when it was first released and only continues to dominate mobile.

Even though lawsuit issues with Apple and Google caused it to be removed from the App Store and Google Play Store, it is still available for Android users today. Sorry iOS fans who can't play it, but there really isn't a battle royale game quite like Fortnite.

A celebration of all things pop culture, with the likes of Ariana Grande battling alongside fictional characters like Naruto, there's no battle royale quite like this.

Add in user-generated content and there are tons of things you can do in Fortnite that will keep you busy for years to come.
