Before discussing the five best characters, you should know that this list is just a personal opinion with proper reasons and foundations.

All the characters on this list have extraordinary abilities in version 3.3, starting with Kaedehara Kazuha.

Kaedehara Kazuha

Kaedehara Kazuha is the best 5 star Genshin Impact character in the author's opinion. While playing Genshin Impact, Kazuha is very useful in any condition and situation thanks to the skill set he has.

His skill set is the best grouping skill in this RPG game. Only by using Elemental Skills, Kazuha could combine enemies that were far apart.

Moreover, the element that Kazuha has, namely Anemo, is very useful because it exists elemental reactions named Swirl when using Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst.

The ability to generate Swirl reactions is very useful because with a full set of Viridescent Venerer artifacts, elements that join in Swirl reactions will receive additional buffs or damage.

In addition, elements that combine with Kazuha's Elemental Burst will also get more damage. Kazuha was able to serve as the best 5 star character too because Build Kazuha easily accessible to F2Ps.

The best 5 star character in the author's opinion is Raiden Shogun, Archon Electro from Inazuma. Raiden Shogun, Ei, or Baal have the right to be one of the best characters thanks to providing energy or as a Battery.

Battery is a character's ability to provide energy or energy regeneration which is useful for issuing Elemental Bursts.

Just like Kazuha, build Raiden Shogun is also very friendly for F2P players, with The Catch weapon that you can get for free through fishing activities.

The way the EM build works is to create a Dendro Core, the result of the reaction of the Dendro and Hydro elements. In the team, Dendro's elements come from Nahida's Elemental Skill and Normal Attack.

Meanwhile, the constant application of Hydro comes from the proprietary Elemental Burst Xingqiu and Yelan.

After creating the Dendro Core, the Elemental Skill from Raiden Shogun will hit the Dendro Core and create a Hyperbloom elemental reaction.

The next best 5 star character is Archon Dendro namely Nahida. In the writer's opinion, Nahida is the best Dendro character at the moment because she is able to produce the most consistent Dendro application.

As already discussed, the current META of Genshin Impact is Dendro's reaction and Nahida being able to provide Dendro Core after Dendro's attack reacts with Hydro.

Apart from that, Nahida's Elemental Burst will also be very useful to buff her Elemental Skills.

By using the Elemental Mastery build, Nahida's Elemental Skill will deal higher damage and will be very useful for Dendro's reactions such as Hyperbloom.

Yelan

Yelan is an Off-field DPS character with a very strong Hydro element. This character has the ability to apply Hydro the best off-field besides Xingqiu.
