Batman Arkham Origin Story Setting

The main storyline in this game takes place 8 years before Batman: Arkham Asylum which was released in 2009.

Following the story of Batman who was younger when he was a crime lord, Black Mask gave a bounty to catch him.

As a result of this, 8 of the best killers from around the world gather in Gotham City on Christmas day to find Batman.

Batman must put Black Mask on trial while being chased by the police as well as facing various other enemies like the Joker who are taking advantage of this chaos.

Gameplay Batman Arkham Origins

The game is played from a third-person perspective focusing on combat, stealth skills, detective skills, and the gadgets used for combat and exploration.

With an open world mechanism, you can freely explore Gotham City, interact with various characters and carry out many missions.

Besides the main storyline, Batman can help the police to overcome crime and confront the villains who terrorize the city.

Arkham Origins introduces a detective mode, where Batman can virtually re-enact crimes. This allows him to investigate incidents and find the culprit.

This game is also the first in a series that can be played in multiplayer mode, where players will participate in a gang war between the Joker and Bane.

Several gadgets from the previous Arkham series will also appear in Arkham Origins. These gadgets include the Cryptographic Sequencer, Batclaw, and Batarang.

The game introduces a quick shift system which allows Batman to summon his plane (Batwing) to move him to another area quickly instead of gliding.

The enemy tower prevents Batman from using his plane. Some enemy towers may be disabled if the player has the required equipment.

Arkham Origins uses the enhanced Freeflow battle system, where players can be more efficient in battle with highlight battle achievements.

Stringing attacks to maintain momentum will be rewarded in the form of experience points. You can use these points to improve Batman's gadgets and abilities.

The enemies you will face have various weapons such as knives, lead pipes, and various types of shields to protect yourself.

In the Batman: Arkham Origins series, there are new enemy types, namely Martial-Artist, Armored Enforcer, and Venom-infused henchmen.

Martial-Artist enemy types have the ability to block, evade, and fight back against Batman's attacks.

Enemies with the Armored Enforcer type will be immune to all attacks until their defense runs low.

The last enemy type, Venom-infused henchmen possess superpowers that allow them to launch attacks that cannot be resisted.

• Batarang a weapon used by throwing it at the enemy

• Grapnel Accelerator, the initial version of Grapnel Boost
• Remote Claw is used to control 2 objects and pull them together
• Shock Gloves to block electric attacks from enemies
• Concussion Detonator, used to freeze large numbers of enemy movements
• The Grapnel Gun is useful for pulling ropes in hard-to-reach places and extending the duration of Batman's flight.
