What are Genshin Impact Artifacts?

Artifacts are items that you can attach to characters to increase each character's strength Stats.

Stats in Artifacts consist of various stats needed by characters except Base Attack. Base Attack can only be obtained from leveling up the character and from weapons.

At the time this article was written, the Dendro element did not yet have certain characters and Artifacts, so there were no Stats regarding the Dendro DMG Bonus.

Over time Genshin Impact onupdates The Dendro DMG Bonus will also be added to the Stats for sure.

All artifacts have powers called Stats. The stat on each artifact is divided into 2 ie Main Stats and Sub-Stats.

Genshin Impact Stat Artifact — Main Stats and sub-Stats

Genshin Impact artifacts will have stars that affect their strength. The bigger the star, the bigger the added Stat effect will be.

Main stats is the primary stat that is paired to increase the character's stat. The Genshin Impact artifact only consists of 1 main stat.

Sub-Stat is an additional power that exists in the Genshin Impact Artifact. This sub stat also determines whether a Genshin Impact Artifact is good or not.

For example, you get an Artifact with the main Stat Crit Rate but all of your Sub-Stats are DEF, so you could say the quality of this Artifact is not good.

For 5-star and 4-star Artifacts it usually consists of 4 sub-stats, and 3-star and 2-star Artifacts have 2 to 3 sub-stats.

Genshin Impact Artifact Slot Type

There are several types of Genshin Impact Artifact Slots that you must complete. Each of these slots will only be filled by 1 Artifact at any time.

The 5 Genshin Impact Artifact slots are: Flower of Life Flower of Life, Plume of Death Plume of Death, Sands of Eon Sands of Eon, Goblet of Eonothem Goblet of Eonothem, and Circlet of Logos Circlet of Logos.

Flower of Life

Flower of Life is an Artifact with the shape of a flower. This artifact has the main stat HP and there are no other stat options other than HP as the main stat.

Flower of Life is the easiest Genshin Impact Artifact slot to get and get good Stats.

Apart from the main stat not always changing with HP, the sub-stats of Flower of Life are usually pretty good.

Plume of Death

Just like Flower of Life, the Plume of Death slot is one of the Genshin Impact Artifact slots which is quite easy to get good Artifacts.

Plume of Death is a slot for an artifact that has a feather-like shape. This slot has the main ATK stat and will never change. The sub-stats obtained are also usually pretty good.

Sand of Eon

Sand of Eon is a Genshin Impact Artifact slot that is shaped like an hourglass.

Stats on Sand of Eon do not have stat still like Plume of Death and Flower of Life.

There are 5 main stats on Sand of Eon, namely: HP%, ATK%, DEF%, Elemental Mastery (EM%), and Energy Recharge (ER%).

Goblet of Eonothem

Goblet of Eonothem is arguably the second most difficult Artifact slot.

Shaped like a cup or cup, this slot will have a more diverse Stat than the other Genshin Impact Artifact slots.

This slot is the only one that has Elemental (Cryo, Hydro, Electro, Pyro, Anemo, Geo DMG Bonus) and Physical DMG Bonus.

The main stats related to Elemental and Physical DMG will only be found in Goblet of Eonothem and will not exist as a Sub-Stat.

Circlet of Logos

This slot is arguably the most difficult Genshin Impact Artifact slot to win farming. Circlet of Logos is usually a slot used for players to increase Crit Rate % or Crit DMG %.

You can only get both Crit Rate and Crit DMG Stats as the main Stats from the Circlet of Logos slot.

The possibility of getting one of these Stats is quite difficult because in this slot which is usually called the crown, almost all Stats except Elemental and Physical DMG.

Genshin Impact Artifact Domain

There are two sources for obtaining Artifacts. The first way is to collect from world and the second way is farming.

You can collect from the world via quests, from the chest, open the Temple of Depth, increase Adventure Rank (AR), search around the map where there is an investigation (investigate) writing.

However rarity of the Artifacts you collect from the World are only 4 stars. If you want to get a good quality Artifact, you have to farming from Domains.

In Genshin Impact there are several Domains such as Domains for Artifacts, collecting weapon materials, character materials (books), domain quests and so forth.

The domain on the map will look like this diamonds with a big, blue circle in the middle. and scattered all over the map.

Until this article was written, there are 9 Genshin Impact Artifact Domains that you can visit.

From several leaks there will also be a new Genshin Impact Artifact domain in The Chasm region which will be opened on patches upcoming 2.6.
