The items you can use for Armadillo are Spider Eye, Brush, and Lead. This mob was first introduced in patch 1.20.5 in April 2024.

When the player runs, rides a vehicle or injures an Armadillo, they will roll into a cube to protect themselves. This also applies if there are aggressive mobs around them.
