Definition of Brackets

Bracket is a diagram in the form of a tree diagram that is used in game tournaments using a knockout or knockout system. 

Usually in esports tournaments, they use an upper and lower bracket system. Where later each group winner will start in the upper bracket.

Brackets Type

Upper Bracket

The upper bracket is filled by the teams or players who won the group stage. The team that enters the upper bracket will have an advantage over the team that enters the lower bracket.

Lower Brackets

The lower bracket is the team that is at the bottom and only has one chance. Because if they lose, they will be eliminated.

The lower bracket will be filled by the team that is in second place in the group stage. The disadvantage when playing in the lower bracket is that there are no second chances here. 

When a team loses, they will immediately be eliminated from the competition. So that forces all teams to be optimal and not make the slightest mistake, if they want to survive.

Mobile Legends brackets

The first is Mobile Legends, taking a recap of the M4 tournament bracket that was held early last year. Here you can see that there is an upper and lower bracket filled by each team. For teams that successfully pass from the group, they will enter each seed.
