Recently Electronic Arts (EA) published a list of job vacancies on the official page Electronic Arts (EA) Careers that was sought by Maxis who was looking for a Head of Monetization.

The jobdesk description explains that The Sims 5 is a "free to enter" game which will attract players to buy items in the game with real money.

Apart from that, an approach to open up a wider market for the content presented in this game and the content created by the community.

However, it is very unfortunate that the job vacancy has been deleted by Electronics Arts (EA) and this is also something that cannot be ascertained for fear that it will become an untrue rumor about this.

Free-to-Play predictions

When Project Rene was introduced in 2022, it became a point of “possibility” that Electronics Arts would release The Sims as a free game at a later date.
