Genshin Impact Ayato Material: Locations, Costs, and Farming Tips

Kamisato Ayato or Ayato need various materials to increase the character's talent and ascension levels.

Kamisato Ayato Materials: Quantity and Cost

The amount of material that Ayato needed to get the character level up to level 90 is as follows:

• Dew of Repudiation x46
• Varunada Lazurite Sliver x1
• Varunada Lazurite Fragment x9
• Varunada Lazurite Chunk x9
• Varunada Lazurite Gemstone x6
• Sakura Bloom x168
• Old Handguard x18
• Kageuchi Handguard x30
• Famed Handguard x46

Max Xiao's Ascension talent will require:

• Mudra of the Malferic General x18
• Old Handguard x18
• Kageuchi Handguard x66
• Famed Handguard x93
• Teaching of Elegance x9
• Guide of Elegance x63
• Philosophies of Elegance x114
• Crown of Insight x9

Apart from materials, Ayato will also need Mora for level 90 and maximum talent level in the following amounts:

•  420,000 Mora for an ascension level character
• 1,672,530 Mora to level up the character
• 1,625,500 Mora for a maximum level of 1 talent x 3 talents (Normal, Burst, Skill) = 4,965,500 Mora

Source and Location of the Ayato Material

The materials that Ayato needed were quite a lot. Not infrequently it takes quite a long time to really maximize the character level to the maximum limit.

Some materials have the same boss or have different levels. In many cases, it's also not certain that the enemy will provide the material you really need.

Knowing the source material for Ayato will make it easier for you to farm so you can make more optimal use of time.

We will tell you the list of enemies and locations for farming that provide the following material drops that Ayato needs:

Hydro Hypostasis

Hydro Hypostasis is one of the World Bosses that gives Ayato a material in the form of Dew of Repudiation and Varunada Lazurite except for Varunada Lazurite Silver which you can buy at Marjorie and Xingxi shops.

Every fight against this boss will give 2-3 Dew of Reputation if your World Level has reached World Level 7. Meanwhile, on the World Level below it will give 1-2 Dew of Repudiation.

As for Varunada Lazurite you will find Fragments at level 40+, Chunk level 60+, and Gemstone 75+.

This enemy position is in Suigetsu Pool, Watatsumi Island. To get there, you can teleport to the northernmost Teleport Waypoint of Watatsumi Island and fly east.

You will see a clam shell-shaped step and a waterfall on the left. Pass the waterfall and descend to the ledge next to the waterfall.

There is a cave that you can enter. Keep going straight and you'll find a Hydro Hypostasis in the middle of the arena.  

Nobushi and Kairagi

Vanguard Material Ayato you can get from enemies Nobushi and Kairagi. You will find this enemy on all the islands in the Inazuma region except for Tsurumi and Enkanomiya islands.

This enemy has characteristics similar to Samurai and attacks with a sword. Usually you will find Nobushi and Kairagi together.

To get Old Vanguard you usually have a level 1+ enemy, Kageuchi Vanguard at level 40+, and Famed Vanguard at level +60.

Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto

This enemy is known by another name Raiden Shogun boss. You can find this Weekly boss in the End of Oneiric Euthymia domain which is located just below the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Besides the material Ayato in the form of Mudra of the Malferic General, this boss also provides another drop where the drop for Ayato will be in the form of a hand.

To be able to open this domain you have to do the second Raiden Shogun story quest, namely Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II – Transient Dreams.

If you have completed the Story Quest, the domain will automatically open.

Sakura Bloom

Sakura bloom is Ayato's material which is a non-enemy material. As one of the local specialty materials, you will only find this flower at Inazuma.

Sakura Bloom is only spread on the island of Narukami. You can find a lot around Grand Narukami Shrine, Mt. Yougou, and Araumi.

Farming Sakura Bloom also cannot be arbitrary. You have to apply the Electro element first to Sakura Bloom before you can finally harvest it.

Tips for Farming Ayato Materials

The amount of material that you have to farm for Ayato is definitely difficult. It's not uncommon for some of these enemies or materials to be difficult to find.

You can use these 3 methods to make your farming material route easier.

First, you can use the Adventure Handbook to direct the enemy's location. The method is:

• Open the in-game Adventure Book (book-shaped icon)
• Select the Enemies section
• Look for an enemy by the name "Nobushi"

Next, you will be automatically directed to Nobushi's location. You can see that in the map there will be a “Nobushi” icon.

This icon will form a route from the nearest Nobushi location and when you have fought the nearest one, the icon will move.

The second way is to use the Genshin Interactive Map. You can access the map here and connect the map to your Genshin Impact account by entering UID to mark the location that you have arrived.

You will easily find the exact location of Nobushi and Sakura Bloom by using the pins and filters provided.

The third way to get Ayato materials, especially Sakura Bloom, is to use a character's passive talent that can track local specialty materials.

Gorou's character is a character Inazuma that can track where the material is. However, this method is a little difficult because you can't focus on which material you want to find.
