HBO Max Announces Harry Potter Remake

HBO Max has officially announced that they will be making a Harry Potter remake in series form. According to the article from USAToday, the original Max series is likely to be released in 2025 or 2026.

Chairman and Chief Executive of HBO and Max, Casey Bloys said that the reboot series is intended for a new generation of Harry Potter fans to explore Hogwarts in a different way.

This series is also claimed to be an adaptation that will be very similar to the novel. This might mean that Harry Potter fans will see a lot of new things in the book that weren't in the previous films.

For example, when Harry meets Hogwarts Poltergeist, Peeves and Hermione's house elf activities in book 4.
