About Novara

Now the discussion will get into the core, namely the mechanics from Novaria. When viewed from the utility aspect, Novaria has more or less the same number of skills as most heroes: two supporting skills and one ultimate skill (ulti).

Most of the characteristics of Novaria's skills are area of effect (AOE) with a fairly broad scope.

To produce damage, this hero with the Mage role only relies on two supporting skills.

Meanwhile, ulti skills are only support without the presence of significant damage output.

At a glance, this kind of supporting skill-based damager combination has been shown on several previous Poke mages, like Lylia and Luo Yi. So naturally, if Novaria also has similar attributes.

But the difference is, the new mage doesn't need a combo or setup between the two supporting skills to provide damage output.

Each of Novaria's skills also provides different output characteristics, both output damage per second (DPS) and Burst.

After understanding the mechanics, the discussion will turn to Novaria's skills.

To understand more about the details, here is a detailed description of each of the mage's skills.

Passive Skill – Star Trail

This skill has buff characteristics that apply to the Astral Sphere (the black ball summoned by Novaria through skills 1 and 2).

Apart from dealing damage when it explodes, this ball also gives a slow effect of 20%. The calculated damage is based on the opponent's magic power and HP.

Skill 1 – Astral Blast

Novaria summons Astral Sphere for 2 seconds to a designated circular area. This skill deals damage to enemies around it, as well as an additional slow effect of 2.5 times the effect given by passive skills.

Skill 2 – Astral Recall

Is the main damager skill (burst) and buff (morphing) from Novaria. This skill has two phases.

First, the mage will summon an Astral Sphere that will float from a distance.

During this mode, Novaria will get a movement speed buff of 20-60%.

This mode also makes Novaria morph into Astral mode: allowing her to penetrate various obstacles in the Land of Dawn.

If he holds the Astral Sphere, this skill will change to a long-range shooting mode where Novaria fires the Astral Sphere in the specified direction.

The resulting damage will be based on the amount of magic power possessed by the mage, the maximum number of HP of the target hit, and the distance traveled from the Astral Sphere (up to 2.5 times the maximum) calculated from the point of summoning the ball.

Ultimate – Astral Echo

Novaria throws out a sort of surging wave with a wide AOE stretch in the designated direction.

The affected enemy will get a slow effect of 50% in a short time, and be attached by the Astral Ring.

This ring will then inflate the hitbox of the hit target.
