The two previous games used a direct or real time system, where the enemy attacked directly.

Honkai Star Rail Character Build System

The Honkai Star Rail character build system is also similar to Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd.

There is a system called Light Cone, Traces, Relics, and Eidolon to strengthen characters.

Light Cones equal to Weapons, Traces equal to Talents, Relics equal to artifacts (or stigmata) and Eidolon equal to Constellations in its predecessor game.

There are several details that set Honkai Star Rail apart, especially for Traces.

Traces system will be in the form of a tree (Skill Tree) where you will increase Talent development with Materials.

In addition, the character class system or Class will play an important role in the character of Honkai Star Rail besides the elements that the character has.

Class or known as Path will determine the character's position and abilities based on The Aeon (similar to Archon) that the character follows.

For example, Path The Preservation functions as a Shielder, The Erudition can provide AoE damage, The Abundance acts as a Healer, and others.

You have to adjust the Relics Light Cone to the character's Path type so that the build results are maximized.

The thing that makes the difference is that you will mostly get both Light Cones and Relics from the Gacha system.

Exploration of the World Honkai Star Rail

World Honkai Star Rail has a very large scope even though it is not an Open World connected like Genshin Impact.
