In it, players must battle AI and other players and extract loot, gradually leveling themselves up in the process. It will be free to play, alongside Warzone 2.0, and will take place in Al Mazrah.

Raids Modern Warfare 2 will later be added to the game during the season 1 update on December 14, 2022, which will be a direct continuation of this game.

At the moment, the full details of the game mode haven't been fully revealed, but it can be speculated that it will involve highly strategic co-op missions under Spec-ops mode.

Items You Can Open Before Season 1 COD MW 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 releases on October 28, 2022 and the developer has released all the challenges and level progression available on day one.

This gives players 20 days of pre-season leveling to unlock additional weapons, attachments, and a few operators to use in multiplayer, Spec Ops, and the upcoming Warzone 2.0.

Weapon

This sounds more complicated than it needs to be, but basically, it allows players to unlock attachments more quickly, since they don't have to unlock the same attachments over and over again for different weapons.

Operator

By default, players will have access to Mil-Sim operators for the KorTac and SpecGru factions in Modern Warfare 2. Additionally, there are 18 additional operators that can be unlocked by playing the multiplayer mode, and Spec Ops.
