AURA Fire Shows Fiery Against Alter Ego in the Playoffs!

Playoffs MPL Indonesia Season 10 has started. The match between AURA Fire and Alter Ego was the opening of the tournament.

Recap AURA Fire vs Alter Ego

The MPL Indonesia Season 10 Playoff has a Bo5 elimination hybrid system. So, the team that loses in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals will be eliminated immediately.

In this match, Alter Ego almost reversed the position with a score of 2-1. However, AURA Fire was able to make up for the loss and finally won the series with a score of 3-2.

Game 1: AURA Fire wins

Based on the picks made by the two teams, many believe that the composition of the Alter Ego team is superior. With Alter Ego choosing Lancelot as the last pick, they have a solid team composition.

For the last pick, AURA Fire requires a hero with high burst damage. However, they chose Beatrix who was nerfed before.

Even though casters and analysts predicted that Alter Ego would win the first game, AURA Fire proved that they were the ones who won the first game.

AURA Fire's superiority was visible in minute 5 with its success in getting two turtles. Previously, they got First Blood against Celiboy in the mid area thanks to High who used Akai's ultimate for perma-stun.

Game 2: Alter Ego Begins to Turn the Table

Alter Ego avenged the defeat of the first game by winning the second game. They appear more solid thanks to a profitable teamfight.

AURA Fire took Minotaur as a jungler and may yet be able to use it to its full potential.

The proof is, they failed to do the early game push thanks to Alter Ego who easily punished AURA Fire.

This game lasts quite a long time, which is more than 20 minutes. The last teamfight succeeded in winning Alter Ego thanks to the ultimate power of Akai which gave a perma stun.

For three games in a row, Akai became an important key to the victory of these two teams.

His strength as a hero is very influential. In particular, Akai's influence is very high in taking objectives and also in teamfights.

In this third game, Akai is again used by Celiboy from Alter Ego. However, the star that really shines in this game is Nino.

Nino got 16 kills, the most kills in MPL Indonesia Season 10. What's more, it has 0 death which means it doesn't die at all. Because of that, he became the MVP in this third game.

One more victory, Alter Ego can continue to the next Playoff round. However, AURA Fire managed to turn things around by winning the fourth game.

AURA Fire's victory happened thanks to the right teamfight selection. Not only that, they also managed to play cleanly, as evidenced by Alter Ego who only got two kills.

AURA Fire provides very high pressure since getting the early game advantage. Ling by High was so influential that he got MVP with a kill participation of 83%.

Game 5: Tiebreaker AURA Fire vs Alter Ego
