Free Fire Advance Server OB34: New Mystery Character and Finn Pet

Free Fire Advance Server OB34 is finally out, and along with it, a number of new features and changes have been added to the game.

In this article, we will list all the significant changes in the beta update. Note that these changes are still in the testing phase and may not be part of the Free Fire Advance Server OB34 release.

Players can download the Advance Server client from the website if they manage to get the Activation Code. Servers will be online until May 23.

New Mystery Character

Similar to all previous “OB” patches, Free Fire Advance Server OB34 will introduce a new mystery character. He comes with an active ability called “Senses Shockwave”, which summons a drone and launches it at the nearest enemy within 100 meters.

Drones explode when they reach targets, dealing AoE damage and slowing movement speed and rate of fire.

The effect lasts for 5 seconds and has a cooldown of 140 seconds. The player must face the target in order to launch the drone. Overall, the new character will be quite strong in the rusher build. Players can launch drones before rushing in to damage and prevent enemies from escaping.

Finn's New Pet

Finn is the newest pet on Free Fire Advance Server OB34. It looks like a shark and is equipped with a skill named “Dash Splash”.

With the pet equipped, players and their teammates will get a slight increase in movement speed every time the player is dropped within about 20 meters. Buff lasts 5 seconds at max level and has a cooldown of 90.

Overall, this pet is very weak and not worth your resources at all. The boost is small, the detection AoE is low, and the cooldown is large. Just take another pet besides this one.

New Sniper M24

M24 is a new sniper rifle with high mobility and fast rate of fire. It would be a worthy choice for ranged combat, replacing AWM. Cutting opponents using this weapon is actually quite deadly.

Character Fans and Nerfs

Xayne

Ability Xayne increased rapidly in OB34. Xtreme Encounter deals 150 HP instead of the current 80, and bonus damage to gloo walls and shields has also been increased from 80 percent to 100 percent. However, the duration of the skill was reduced by 50 percent, dropping to 10 from 15.

Its cooldown has also been reduced to 130 seconds. Overall, Xayne's abilities are much stronger now, and correct activation allows players to turn the tide of battle with relative ease.

Kenta

Kenta's shield now blocks 65 percent damage instead of 50 percent. Shield duration has also increased by 2 seconds, with cooldown halved. The character has been underpowered since its release, and this buff does little to change its power level.

Nairi

Nairi's damage bonus to Gloo Walls has been buffed by 10 percent at all levels. With other aspects unchanged, it's just a slight nerf that doesn't affect Nairi's performance at all.

Skyler

Skyler, one of the most popular characters in the game so far, has received a major nerf to his cooldown. The first level is set at 85 seconds instead of the current threshold of 60 seconds.

Overall, while this doesn't change how characters operate, players need to count a lot more now than just spamming their abilities in every fight.

chrono

After a lot of nerfing in the previous patch, Chrono finally got a cooldown buff. However, the 20 second CD reduction didn't fix his shield weakness at all.

Steffie

The reworking of Painted Refuge in the previous patch makes this skill the perfect choice for support in Free Fire. It looks like Garena wants to increase the support role, as his skills have received a bit of a buff in OB34. With a reduced cooldown of 30 seconds at all levels, that ability should be the first choice now.

Alok

Alok's Drop the Beat now has a higher cooldown at low levels. This means that players must maximize it to have the same cooldown as the OB33 version. Overall, it's a pretty fair nerf to the skill, as it's been way too popular for years now.

A124

After a recent revamp, Thrill of Battle has become one of the most powerful active skills in the game. Because of this, its cooldown has been increased by 10 seconds at all levels. This is only a very minor nerf and the power of the ability is still more or less intact.

mass

His passive now provides less speed and reduced damage. The characters are not as strong as they are now and definitely not worth choosing.

Bomb Squad 5 vs 5 – Ranked

Garena has decided to permanently add the classic competitive FPS mode to Free Fire. The Bomb Squad mode will be ranked from OB34 onwards, with a new map called El Pastelo. It has many buildings and angles to help players approach the game mode tactically.

Similar to the bomb squad mode in most shooters, Bomb Squad features two teams – Attackers and Defenders. The former has the task of planting a bomb at the location, while the latter has to guard the location and defuse the planted explosives.
