Instagram Starts NFT Implementation Trial This Week

Instagram will begin testing the implementation of the NFT this week. This was conveyed by the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri.

He conveyed this through his Twitter account on Monday 9 May 2022.

He himself conveyed that the economy of content creators on Instagram was very important for his party.

However, the thing that is a challenge is how it is able to make creators earn income by doing what they like.

Currently, he said, there are various ways for content creators to earn income.

However, most of the content creators are unpredictable and change quickly.

“Right now, we think one opportunity that's really interesting for some creators is NFTs,” he said.

The Instagram boss stated that his party would pilot the NFT implementation together with a number of content creators and collectors in the US.

“This week we will start testing digital collections with some US makers and collectors who will be able to share NFTs on Instagram,” the video caption reads on its Twitter account.

In this trial, he said, no fees were charged to content creators.
