PUBG Corp has released a new update for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which recently entered Season 2 for its newest season. Patch update sees the return of Vikendi, PUBG's snow covered Map which was removed back in Season 6 when Karakin was added to battle royale games. However, this is not the same Vikendi you remember, and is now live on all PC servers. Vikendi 2.0 Canceled release, because there are a number of things that are definitely being considered by Tencent.
PUBG Mobile is a very good game for you to play because it is definitely an option for carrying out attacks and achievements that are quite brilliant. You are also one of the main things to become an important player in this vast map.
Vikendi is a fairly large map and is capable of being the most important map for you to play. This map is indeed quite broad and tends to be passive, but you can certainly do further creativity so that the game you bring will be even more interesting.
As you can see in the embedded image below, the snow levels for Vikendi have been adjusted once again. Due to this change, both snowbikes and snowmobiles have also been removed and replaced by motorcycles and motorcycles with sidecars. Nine moving trains have also been added to Vikendi, which snake their way around and across the map and stop at 12 newly implemented stations. Catching trains offers a quick way to get outside the zone walls or just get around.
A Brief Explanation About the Vikendi Map
PUBG's winter map drops just before Christmas. Vikendi 2.0 may be canceled because there are still some bug fixes and others. This makes it one of the priorities for the developers to be more aggressive in making further improvements.
This is called Vikendi (from “vikend” meaning “weekend” in Serbo-Croatian I can only assume) and it was a 6×6 km map.
Developers say the map was tweaked to be more tactical than Sanhok.
An interesting fact is that the circle will get smaller to start with, but will shrink more slowly, in steps to force players to actually explore all areas of the map, and have a lot more variety in gameplay.
The feature that players personally like the most is the fact that most of the map is covered in snow. Footprints and vehicle tracks will be visible in the snow for a period of time, essentially introducing another gameplay mechanic to PUBG.
FAST VIKENDI FACTS:
- The size is 6x6km.
- Temporary snow tracks for vehicles and footprints for players.
- The smaller the initial blue zone or safe zone, the smaller the change from phase to phase.
- From phase 4, zones will close more slowly, like Sanhok.
VIKENDI LOOT:
- Level 3 helmets appear on the map.
- Level 3 Vests appear more frequently than any other map.
- Higher Smoke Grenade spawn rate.
- A new AR, G36C will appear instead of SCAR.
- A new vehicle, the Snowmobile is introduced — great on snow but terrible on normal roads.
Vikendi 2.0
Unfortunately, Vikendi 2.0 is not available when players update their game to the latest version. Flora Menace Mode is only available on Erangel and Krafton have revealed in the patch notes the official date for the launch of the new mode on the rest of the map namely Livik and Karakin. The release date for Vikendi 2.0 has yet to be officially announced by Krafton.
According to leaks and reports, the Vikendi map will soon be brought back into the game. Allegedly Vikendi 2.0 will be coming to the game along with the PUBG Mobile 1.6 patch update. The Vikendi 2.0 map has been pushed back due to the PUBG Mobile 1.5 Ignition update. There is no news yet about the Karakin map being removed with the launch of Vikendi 2.0.
However, the Vikendi 2.0 news has not been “officially confirmed” by the developers either. We'll have to wait and watch to hear any news about it officially from the developers soon.
Reasons for Vikendi 2.0 Canceled Release
It's a shame that Vikendi 2.0 failed to officially launch this month. Surely we as PUBG Mobile fans want to always have the latest updates. Because as a player, we always look forward to this one map being able to return to enliven the battle royale scene on this one.
PUBG has several maps including Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Livik, and Karakin. Vikendi is a very wide map and of course you can really rely on it as your favorite map in tournaments.
This was immediately conveyed on the official PUBG Mobile Indonesia Instagram. Surely this is one of the efforts so that the players will be even more patient waiting for the arrival of Vikendi 2.0
Conclusion
Vikendi 2.0 has been officially canceled because of course there are some technical problems that Tencent developers are still working on. Of course, this indicates that Tencent has not contributed much to improving this map.
Vikendi 2.0 is the mainstay map for several pro-scense esports teams such as bigetron red aliens, this is definitely one of the things that must be fixed directly with Tencent as soon as possible.
