PUBG Mobile gives players lots of binoculars and scopes for ADS skills. PUBG's red dot and holographic are two of the best choices for close combat. But which scope attachment is better in PUBG Mobile?
PUBG Mobile gives players a lot of scope to improve ADS skills. Among them, PUBG red dot and holographic are the two best choices for close combat.
But many players are still confused, which attachment is better in PUBG Mobile. Let's find the answer here.
This article makes a detailed comparison of PUBG's Red dot and holographics to understand which scope is best in close combat.
Holographic Sight Vs Red Dot PUBG
PUBG red dot and holographic scopes are the two most popular scopes in PUBG Mobile. This scope is also the best attachment for close combat. These two scopes provide support for players in aiming at short distances (under 200 meters).
It would be better to use PUBG/holographic red dot with SMG or AR. But let's find out which scope attachment is better in this game.
Side View
In terms of field of view, PUBG's red dot gives players a wider and clearer view of their surroundings. When you activate the scope for ADS, the PUBG red dot scope provides a clear view of the area around the target. However, the holographic scope covers the area around the object, which can be lethal in battle.
When you face a full army or many enemies at once, PUBG's red dot will be more profitable. You can use a holographic scope for 1 on 1 battles at close range. It's easier to make headshots when you aim holographically in close combat with only one enemy.
As mentioned before, PUBG's red dot is a basic scope that can be very helpful during close combat.
After opening the scope, the player will see a red dot in the middle of the screen covering a large area which helps the player to aim precisely at the enemy even if they are facing enemies from a distance. Players generally prefer to use Red dot PUBG with AKM or M416.
Stability
The tip attaches the holographic to the gun with a large recoil rate. For example, you should use a holographic for 7.62 ammo weapons, such as Beryl M762 or AKM. Meanwhile, PUBG's red dot will be the right choice for SMG weapons and 5.56 ammunition, such as M416, SCAR-L, etc.
The 7.62 gun in PUBG Mobile has more recoil thus capable of better performance with holographics whereas the 5.56 and SMG guns don't have as much recoil and thus the red dot feels better with them.
However, in some guns like the AKM, red dot and Holo do the exact same thing because they have pattern based recoil.
Holo appears more often on the map compared to PUBG's red dot. Players will usually find holographics lying around with AR or SMG weapons.

Holo also consists of a red dot placed in the center, but covers a smaller area compared to PUBG's red dot, therefore, holographics can only work effectively in close combat. If players want to gain stability in weapons, then the holographic sight will be a good choice.
It should be noted that Holo does not reduce recoil in PUBG Mobile. If you have a lot of experience with all weapons, and are experienced with their recoil patterns, you may prefer to use the red dot on all weapons, as it gives a better Field of View. Usually applies to players who don't have problems with recoil.
The holographic scope does not help reduce the recoil rate of the weapon. But it does give you a more stable view of the target when aiming at enemies.
By comparing these two scopes, we can say that PUBG's Red dot will be a better choice to use when engaging in close range combat.

The red dot sight provides a better view of the enemy, therefore, even though the recoil is high compared to the holographic, you can control the scope if they focus on shooting at the enemy's body.
You can use Red dot sight with M416 and AKM to win close combat. So, choose your best scope with respect to your play style and your favorite weapon, Vicigers friends.
