Daichi Sawamura
Daichi is a third-year student at Karasuno High School. He is the captain of the volleyball team and also acts as a coach while Ikkei Ukai, their original coach, is hospitalized.
Daichi is a very responsible person who cares about his team. He is known to be patient and understanding, but can turn scary when angry. However, Daichi does this when needed.
As a form of his strictness, Daichi once locked Kageyama and Hinata in the gym because they kept fighting and didn't listen to his orders.
Asahi Azumane
Like Daichi, Asahi Azumane is a third-year student. He is the Wing Spiker and Ace of Karasuno High School's men's volleyball team.
Asahi has an appearance that is more mature than his age. This makes him seem hard to approach. However, he is actually a warm and hardworking person.
Since experiencing continuous blocking from Date Tech High School, Asahi decided to stop playing volleyball because he felt guilty towards his teammates.
Luckily, he eventually rejoins the team and begins to recognize his important role as Karasuno High's Ace player.
Koshi Sugawara
Koshi is the vice-captain of the Karasuno volleyball team. He has a warm and gentle personality. Koshi acts as a pillar of support for his team, where he is able to raise the morale of all members.
Even though he no longer plays as setters Regularly, Koshi still did not give up on playing volleyball. He was determined to keep trying to practice and become better than before.
Yu Nishinoya
Despite his short stature, Yu Nishinoya has a muscular body. This second-year student at Karasuno High School plays the Libero role on the team.
Nishinoya has a cheerful and energetic personality. He often gives unique names to the moves he does while practicing.
Tobio Kageyama
Before joining the Karasuno High School volleyball team, Kageyama Tobio nicknamed the King of the Field. This is not a compliment but rather a mockery of the Kitagawa Daiichi player because of his arrogant and bossy attitude.
Despite his incredible talent and ability on the field, this has led to him being distrusted by his teammates. Unfortunately, Kageyama cannot express this due to his inexpressive nature.
Since joining Karasuno, he began to learn the importance of teamwork and trust in a team. Kageyama is finally able to be confident again with his position as setters.
Hinata Shoyo
Hinata is the main character of the anime Haikyuu!! who holds the position of Middle Blocker in Karasuno High School's volleyball team. Just like Tobio, he is also a first-year student.
Ever since seeing the action of Karasuno's “Little Giant” at the TV shop, Hinata has been determined to become a great volleyball player even though he is shorter than most players.

Kei Tsukishima
Holding the position of Middle Blocker, Kei Tsukishima is the tallest member of the Karasuno High School volleyball team. This character is known for his outspoken personality and often makes people around him annoyed.
Although he looks annoying and lazy to play, Kei actually has a reason for his attitude. However, since joining the Karasuno team, he has become interested in studying volleyball more seriously.
Tadashi Yamaguchi
One of the first-year students who also joins the Karasuno High School volleyball team with Kei, Hinata, and Tobio. He holds the position of Middle Blocker and Pinch Server on the team.
Yamaguchi is a shy and insecure person. He feels he is behind his peers in volleyball ability.
However, Yamaguchi eventually managed to overcome her lack of confidence by practicing her server moves rigorously. Thanks to this training, she managed to help Karasuni High School turn things around on the court several times.
Ryunosuke Tanaka
One of the second year students of Karasuno High School who is also a member of the men's volleyball team. Ryunosuke Tanaka plays the role of Wing Spiker starter.
Despite his impatient and short temper, he actually cares deeply about his teammates. Tanaka also has a strong mentality and is not easily shaken even if his attacks are blocked by the opponent.
Hisashi Kinoshita
Kinoshita is a shy person, but he easily gets along with his teammates. Sometimes, Kinoshita is also not shy to tease them. For example, teasing Tanaka who took off his shirt during a match with the first-year students.

Chikara Ennoshita
Chikara Ennoshita is a second-year student at Karasuno High School. He is usually quiet and has a personality that tends to be quieter than the other members.
Despite his friendly smile, Ennoshita can be firm when necessary. For example, controlling Tanaka and Nishinoya who are too enthusiastic about something.
Having stopped training when coach Ukai returned, Ennoshita finally realized how important volleyball was to him. He eventually returned to the team as a reserve Wing Spiker.
Kazuhito Narita
One of the Middle Blocker players of Karasuno High School's volleyball team, Kazuhito Narita sometimes replaces his teammates in matches.
Narita is a calm, friendly, and patient person. Like Ennoshita and Kinoshita, the three of them had quit the volleyball team when coach Ukai was active. However, he eventually decided to join again in his second year.
