When will One Piece Live Action Season 2 be released? 

In addition to providing leaks about the new cast in One Piece Live Action Season 2, the good news is that Netflix has also announced the broadcast schedule for this live action adaptation series. 

Quoting from Liputan6, this live action series has started production since June 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. 

The filming process is estimated to take 7 months, showing the seriousness of the production team in producing satisfactory quality. Fans predict that season 2 will be released in late summer 2025 but the exact date is still waiting for the next official announcement from Netflix. 

While waiting, fans can continue to follow the latest updates from Netflix and One Piece social media. The success of the first season is an indicator that season 2 will be greeted with high enthusiasm. 

One Piece Live Action Season 2 story

After the huge success of One Piece Live Action season one, Netflix is ready to continue the adventures of Luffy and the Straw Hat crew in Season 2. 

In season 2, important characters will be introduced such as Smokers, Dr. Kureha, and the most Tony Tony Chopper! Eiichiro Oda himself has promised the appearance of the fans' favorite deer doctor in the live action version of the series later. 

Chopper's presence in this series will add to the excitement of Luffy and his friends' adventures. 

The presence of the characters mentioned above indicates that the live action story will adapt anime arc Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island. 

The presence of Smoker and Tashigi indicates that the Loguetown arc is the last place before Luffy enters the Grand Line. 

Dr. Kureha is a key character in the Drum Island arc, a snowy island that is the setting for Chopper's story. Here Luffy and the crew will look for a doctor for the sick Nami and eventually meet Chopper.
