Fortnite Reload Mode Now Supports Duos

One of the biggest changes in this update is the addition of support for Reload mode in Duos format. 

Previously, Reload mode could only be played in Squads format. But now, you can play this mode with just one friend. So, if you prefer playing alone rather than with a full team, this is good news for you.

Reload mode itself takes place in Fortnite map original featuring classic locations such as Tilted Towers, Pleasant Park, and Retail Row.

Changes in Reload Mode: Increased Crawl Speed

Aside from the addition of Duos support, there are some small but significant changes to Reload mode. 

One of them is an increase in crawling speed when you are in a "down but not out" condition. This means you can move faster to find cover or get closer to your friends so they can be revived.

Decreased Frequency of Exotic and Mystical Items

Exotic and Mystical Items will now appear slightly less frequently in loot pools. This may be done to make the game more balanced and challenging. 

Additionally, shotguns will appear from chests more often, giving you more opportunities to get this weapon.

Fortnite collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean

One of the most eagerly awaited things in this update is Fortnite's collaboration with Pirates of the Caribbean. You can expect iconic characters such as Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones, Elizabeth Swann, and Hector Barbossa to appear in Fortnite. 

Apart from that, there are also leaks that the Flint Knock Pistol will return, and there will be new items in the form of a Mythic pirate ship and pirate-themed points of interest (POI).
