Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 Will Be Released July 10, 2024

It is rumored that Samsung will launch two new foldable cellphones, namely the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The first launch of these two cellphones will take place in Paris, July 10 2024.

The news about the launch of Samsung's foldable cellphone was strengthened by the appearance of leaked images on the internet. Launching from Kompas.com displays of the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 have been circulating on the Samsung Kazakhstan website. 

Samsung Fold 6 is a Samsung folding cellphone with a design that resembles a book that opens from the side. Meanwhile, the Samsung Flip 6 is also a folding cellphone but has a clamshell design that opens from the bottom up.

In the photo leaked to the public, the Samsung Fold 6 appears half open. Meanwhile, the Z Flip appears to open 120 degrees, similar to the appearance of a laptop as shown in the main image of this article.

Appearance of the Samsung Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6

Based on the images circulating, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will appear with a fresher design. With its flat frame, angled edges, and titanium color, it looks like the Z Fold 6 at a glance S24 Ultra. Then the speaker design which is in the shape of a straight line similar to a microSD slot strengthens the similarity of the Z Fold 6 cellphone with the S24 Ultra. 

Meanwhile, on the back of the cellphone there is a camera with three lenses like those on cellphones Z Fold 5. It's just that the size of the camera lens on the Z Fold 6 is much larger than its predecessor. 

Previously, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 cellphone had a secondary screen ratio measuring 23.1:9. However, on the Samsung Fold 6 cellphone, the bezel will be slimmer with a 22:9 ratio. 

Then on the Samsung Flip 6, the folding cellphone appears to have a design similar to its predecessor Z Flip 5. There are two cameras with a similar layout on the cover screen. 

However, the difference with the Samsung Flip 6 is that the cover screen size will be wider at 3.9 inches.

Samsung Fold 6 and Flip 6 specifications

The Samsung Fold 6 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Fold 6's main camera will likely be 200 MP resolution complete with the OIS feature. 

Because of its predecessor Samsung Fold 5 only uses a 50 MP resolution main camera. It is possible that on this cellphone Samsung will improve the camera specifications. 

The Samsung Fold 6 will be available in 3 color variants that have reportedly not yet been discovered. What is clear is that the material for this cellphone will use titanium.

Then the Samsung Flip 6 will reportedly have a 6.7 inch main screen. The phone will have better cooling than its predecessor. 

The chipset used in this cellphone is Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 combined with 12 GB RAM. If this rumor is proven on July 10 2024, the Samsung Z Flip 6 will be Samsung's first cellphone with 12 GB RAM.
