Official Redmi Pad Pro 5G Specifications, 4 Million Great Specs

Affordable tablet made by Xiaomi, namely the Redmi Pad Pro 5G was officially announced in China on May 30 yesterday.

Initially this tablet was only available in a Wi-Fi version without the addition of 5G. However, now it is also available in a version that supports 5G SIM cards which is now being marketed throughout China.

The Redmi Pad Pro was initially released on April 10 in China to replace its predecessor, the Xiaomi Pad 6s Pro, which was released in February 2024.

According to GSM Arena, the specifications of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G are not much different from the Wifi version. What makes the difference is the additional 5G SIM support which comes with 2 SIM card slots.

So, this tablet is a development of the Wifi version without reducing the key specifications which are no less powerful.

This tablet has dimensions of 280 x 181.9 mm, a thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight of 571 grams. Makes it fit perfectly in a bag and is economical.

Then for performance, the Redmi Pad Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. This chipset supports the performance of your activities faster than the Wifi version. as well as Adreno 710 GPU support.

Meanwhile, in terms of the screen, this tablet has a 12.1 inch IPS type screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1200 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate which is much more responsive, a brightness of 600 nits, and Dolby Vision support which promises sharp and clear graphics, and has protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

This tablet is also supported by an 8 megapixel resolution camera on both the back and front.

This tablet is equipped with the HyperOS operating system which is based on Android 14. For those who don't know, HyperOS replaces the legendary Xiaomi device operating system, MIUI.

To support various activities, this tablet is equipped with 4 audio speakers, 3.5 mm audio jack, and 24bit/192KHz audio resolution.

There are also storage options that can be chosen according to budget and needs, Redmi Pad Pro comes with 6GB and 8GB RAM, as well as 128GB and 256GB ROM.

TENAA Certificate Out, Ready to Be Marketed in July

Another proof that the Redmi Pad Pro is ready to be marketed globally is the release of the TENAA certificate. 

Visuals of the Redmi Pad Pro tablet can also be seen in this certification. The certificate contains the serial number 24074RPD2C.

The letter "C" in the serial number indicates the location where the tablet was issued, namely in China.

This number will be changed when the tablet goes on sale globally to 24074RPD2G for the Global market, and 24074RPD2I for the Indian market.

This serial number also marks the time the tablet was released. The number 2407 in the serial number indicates that this tablet will be marketed in July.

Apart from that, the written battery capacity is only 4900mAh. However, it is possible that the battery on the Redmi Pad Pro only displays one cell, while the Redmi Pad Pro 5G relies on a dual cell battery.
