The Finals tells the story of a group of people competing in a virtual gaming event. Like a performance, you will be "seen" by the hologram audience.

To add to the lively atmosphere, there will be commentators who provide opinions based on observations of the game in progress.

Embark Studios as the developer of this game stated that they got inspiration from The Hunger Games and Gladiator.

In the basic mode called "Cashout", three teams each consisting of three players will be formed.

Here, three teams will compete to complete a task which consists of opening the safe and moving them to the “Cashout” location.

The aspects used in this game are inspired by the game of taking the flag. Where the team must control an area to carry out an action.

The winning team is the one who managed to collect the most coins plus other factors such as points, eliminations, assists, and the number of deaths.

Killed players will turn into statues that teammates can later carry and use to revive them.

You can also revive yourself by spending “Respawn Coins”. In some game modes, “Respawn Coin” will be limited for each player.

Players can see these achievements in the form of a matrix that is shown when the game has ended.

Characters in this game are divided into three classes, namely "Light", "Medium", and "Heavy" which represent the model of your character.

Light has more agile movement so they can use light machine guns. They are also easier to hide because they have small bodies.

Characters of the Medium class can use healing rays and can use Assault Riffle and Shotgun.

Meanwhile, characters from the Heavy class are designed to withstand attacks better than other classes with light rifles and C4 as their equipment.

Although each class has its own unique weapons and equipment, each class can use weapons from other classes.
