List of Generation 6 Pokemon Games, Which One to Play?

This 6th generation debuted with 72 new species of Pokemon out of a total of 721 Pokemon, both introduced in the Kalos and Hoenn regions. This generation 6 Pokémon is entirely 3D and presented for the Nintendo 3DS.

This generation 6 Pokemon was first published when Pokémon X and Y were announced on January 8 2013 and on October 12 2013 this Pokémon game was officially released worldwide.

This Pokémon X and Y game has 72 new Pokémon species, 57 moves or moves and 26 abilities and is equipped with exciting gameplay with new battles called Mega Evolution.

Then, the second Pokémon game in this generation which was announced on May 7 2014 is Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire which are remakes of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire in the previous 3rd generation.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are two different games and were published by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company on October 12 2013 for the Nintendo 3DS platform.

So, please note that Pokémon X and Y are the first games to debut for Pokémon generation 6.

The gameplay itself is still similar to previous Pokémon games, in Pokémon

Well, the second is the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games which were released on November 21 2014 by Nintendo and The Pokémon Company.

Even though this game is a Generation 6 Pokémon game, this game is also a remake of Game Boy Advance and Pokémon Ruby Sapphire.

For the gameplay itself, right at the start of the game you will have a Starter Pokémon, namely Treecko, Torchic or Mudkip to protect a Professor named Professor Birch.

Later you will also fight to defeat other wild Pokémon there and you will continue your adventure to the Hoenn region to complete the Pokédex and defeat the 8 Lead Gyms of the Hoenn Pokémon League.

Apart from that, there is also a side-quest that you can complete here, namely Delta Episode.

Here you have to coordinate with Zinnia, Steven Stone and Professor Cozmo and Rayquaza to stop a meteor from hitting the planet and giving rise to the myth of Deoxys.

In fact, these are not games like Pokémon X and Y and Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire above.

However, this is a storage app, aka an application for storing Pokémon on the Nintendo 3DS from Pokémon Black and White, Pokémon Black and White 2, Pokémon X and Y, Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and Pokémon Sun and Moon.

Storage Pokémon is almost similar to Pokémon Box Ruby and Sapphire and My Pokémon Ranch.

Apart from that, up to 100 boxes are available in this storage which can store up to 3,000 Pokémon that you own.

If you want to download this application, don't worry because this application is complete with an application package called Poké Transporter where you can also send or transfer Pokémon from previous generations.

Previously, this application was a paid application and you could download it on the Nintendo 3DS.

However, with the discontinuation of the Nintendo eShop service on the Nintendo 3DS, you can use this application for free.

You can still transfer Pokémon that you previously saved in Pokémon Bank to Pokémon Home.
